Chapter 3: St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses

POV of Marco

"Sorry for killing the vibe, but this guy's clearly looking for trouble with my friends." In this situation, I prefer to be honest.

It would be a shame if I got banned from the Bounce Lounge because of these idiots.

"Is that true?" The owner threw a disapproving look at the remaining robot.

"We... zip work for St. Olga. We just want... zip... to get our hands on a rebellious princess," the robot explained, his speech interrupted by bugs caused by my attack.

"I see, but that's no reason to come into my club and ruin the mood." After these words, the owner snapped her fingers, and two massive creatures in suits came to drag the robot out of the club.

"I'll leave with them. Sorry again for the inconvenience."

She simply nodded before returning to her cloud. I must admit, she's pretty cool.

Once at the exit of the floating club, I searched the damaged robots and got my hands on their dimensional scissors.

I used them immediately, choosing St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses as my destination.

"Indeed, this place isn't very welcoming," I said upon arriving.

Before me stood an extremely secure fortress, presenting itself as a reform center for rebellious princesses.

"How am I going to infiltrate inside?" I'm not really planning to destroy this place, but I want to control the education these princesses receive.

So, it would be better to cause as little damage as possible.

"But I also need to make myself known as a threat to increase my power..." A strong approach, but with minimal damage, seems to be the best solution.

After long reflection, I finally decided to climb the extremely high walls and look for the headmistress.

Fortunately for me, my physical abilities are surprisingly strong. I don't know if I inherited the physical strength related to my status as the Devil of Control or if it's simply a racial ability.

As for my image? There are several ways to instill fear in princesses without resorting to physical violence or destroying everything in my path.

*bam* "How many robots are there here?" Along my way, I surprisingly encountered more robots than the original story suggested.

It made sense, given the immensity of the place.

"Who are you?!!" After about thirty minutes of searching, I finally found the office of the headmistress, aka Miss Heinous, or rather Meteora Butterfly, her real name.

Before me was the true heir princess of Mewni.

"I'm just... the devil of control." Currently, I didn't really have a disguise to hide my identity.

I admit I didn't think about it. I came here simply to take control of the place, nothing more.

I hadn't yet thought of a grand plan to instill fear around the concept of conquest or control.

"G...!!!" Without hesitation, Miss Heinous immediately tried to alert the guards.

I instantly reduced the distance between us in a fraction of a second and pinned her to the ground.

"No, no, I can't let you do that," I said with a slight smile.

Before me was the key to taking control of Mewni, and also one of the most powerful women in this multiverse.

I've always lived under the control of others since my mother abandoned me. Is this why I instinctively desired to become the devil of control?

The probable answer is yes.

"I'll let you go, but if you scream..." I added nothing, simply pointing at her desk before making it explode with a simple gesture.

She quickly nodded in response to my words.

"Now that you're free, I'll be honest with you: I'm here to conclude a contract with you."

Miss Heinous seemed bewildered by my words for a moment, but she quickly adopted a clearly hostile expression.

"You're telling me you infiltrate a reform school for rebellious princesses at night to make a deal with its headmistress? Seriously?" From her tone, she didn't really believe me.

I simply nodded.

"Ridiculous. I knew many princesses hated this place, but to pay a mercenary to get privileges..."

It seemed Miss Heinous had misunderstood the situation. She thought I was some kind of mercenary hired by a princess to escape this place or get special treatment.

"The only princess I came to see here is you, Meteora," I stated directly.

"How did you call me?" Miss Heinous's gaze suddenly became distant, as if she was trying to remember something important, but unable to put her finger on it.

"I called you by your real name. And if you want to know more, then you'll have to conclude a contract with me." I insisted on the contract.

I could impose a contract on her, but I'm not really sure if it would work, because for some reason, I'm unable to perceive her as inferior to me.

Perhaps this is due to my low self-esteem, forged by years of harassment and domestic violence.

The other way to impose a contract is to defeat her, which is technically already done. However, I'll first try a peaceful approach.

"What do you want?"

I smiled at this question before opening my mouth to speak as the devil I am.

"you"

....

POV of the narrator

"Ridiculous, I see you're just a pervert." Meteora's voice contained obvious disgust.

"I see... The peaceful way is impossible, and I'm not sure I can impose a contract. In this case, I'll simply assert my right of conquest," Marco concluded mentally.

The Devil of Control has the ability to take control of a person by three methods:

1. By contract: a mutual agreement between the two parties.

2. By pure domination: if the Devil of Control considers himself superior to someone, he can control them and force a contract.

3. By conquest: by defeating an individual, the Devil of Control gains the right to control them.

As one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Marco Diaz embodies conquest.

Since he had already defeated Meteora, he could exercise control over her by force.

'I didn't want it to come to this...' Marco thought before beginning to modify Meteora's feelings towards him.

From now on, Marco Diaz had become the central element of her life.

...

"Where were you, Marco?! Pony Head and I were worried!" As soon as he returned home, after taking total control of St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses, Marco was victim to a brutal hug from Star.

"Sorry, I was busy with weird robots at the Bounce Lounge," Marco explained, intentionally omitting mentioning his descent to their base.

"Uh... yes, those are individuals who were chasing Pony Head," Star responded with an embarrassed tone.

"I see, your friend is quite the rebel, just like you, haha!" The two friends burst out laughing before discussing Star and Pony Head's adventures in Marco's absence.

"Too bad Pony Head's father came to ruin your girls' trip," Marco casually threw out, imagining the two friends causing mischief.

Star sighed at these words, visibly just as disappointed. She seemed to have wanted to prolong her moment of fun with her friend.

"Well, we'd better go to sleep. There's class tomorrow," Marco said, heading towards his room after wishing Star a good night.

Lying on his bed after a good shower, Marco couldn't help but carefully observe his dimensional scissors.

"The multiverse is within reach," he murmured, a determined glint in his eyes.

Author's note: Well, I think this story can really start now.
