Max finished packing the valuables of the corpse. He did not know why, he was feeling a bit uneasy. So he wanted to leave this area quickly. Just as he was about to leave the area he felt something sharp behind him.

'Swoosh'

He narrowly dodged the sharp object and rolled to the side on the ground. When he lifted his head, a huge ten meter high black spider with twelve legs that looked like sharp spears was staring at his with its two big and six small eyes. It had four sharp tusks.

Max recognized the star beast. It is a Dark Devil Burrow Spider. It is known as the omni-predator due to its speed, poison and hiding ability.

He finally knew why he felt uneasy. The Dark Devil Burrow Spider was hiding in a burrow while watching Max kill the Wolf. It wanted to kill Max after he is exhausted.

The Rank 5 Star Beasts are not low in intelligence. Especially the fox, snakes and spiders known for their cunning nature. Max sensed the cultivation of the spider. It is an advanced stage Rank 5 Star Beast. Max just wanted to escape because his poison would not work for the spider who is also known for its venom.

Not to mention, Max is exhausted without any star power. He ran quickly while shooting some numbing needles and soul stirring needles at the spider. The spider with its twelve legs escaped those needles easily and chased against max.

Max did not have enough star power to activate Ghostly Six Shadows he can only escape while creating some obstacles to the spider by cutting some trees with the blades.

As Max ran for a thousand meters, the spider caught up with him. Max could only watch the sharp spear like leg pierce his throat with a wry smile on his face. He did not fear death but he was not reconciled to die without reaching the summit. He did not want his journey to end this quickly.

The star seed inside Max seemed to feel his emotions. His star seed started burning while emitting all the star power. Max was overwhelmed with the star power in his body. He felt like his body might explode any time. Just then he sensed that the silver lines on his star rune were a bit visible. Before, those lines were vague but not real. Now he felt that those lines were real just like when his dark lines when they were awakened five years ago.

So he activated the silver pattern on the rune with all his star power. He left his whole body spin for a moment as he closed his eyes. The Burrow spider could only watch the human bug disappear in front of its eyes angrily.

When he opened his eyes he was inside a cave. His face was very pale. He did not know where this place is.

Fortunately he traveled to a relatively safe place. He checked his body when he saw his star seed has disappeared. He did not panic because he can feel the star seed recovering slowly. It would take at least one month for the star seed to recover. He can only stay inside the cave for a month.

Max took out some powder from the space ring and sprinkled it around the cave. It is called monster dispelling powder. It can keep low level Star beasts at bay. He can only hope that he is in the periphery of the forest.

As one month passed by, Max stayed inside this cave while studying the silver pattern on the rune with his mental power daily. But those silver lines were once again back to their previous state. He speculated that the space attribute can only be activated with a huge amount of Star power.

That day when he burned his star seed, it was exactly like the skill of those Star Knights above Rank 6 who can burn their second star seed to improve their strength. But he did not know why he can burn his first star seed.

May be it had something to do with the fact that his first star seed absorbing star power from stars of the outer orbit. After all the Star Knights above Rank 6 also absorb star power from the stars of outer orbit to their second star seed to cultivate.

After the Star Knight condenses his second star seed i.e. his secondary star seed, he can only absorb the power of stars from the outer orbit to the secondary star seed.

The Secondary Star Seed passes all of the star power it had absorbed from the outer orbit stars to the Primary Star Seed, saving only a certain amount of star power in it required for the Star Spirit Manifestation skill. A Star Knight always uses only the star power from the Primary star seed.

In Max's case his primary star seed also acted as a secondary star seed to burn all its star power to activate the manifestation skill. But due to Max's low cultivation level it should be called Pseudo-Star Spirit Manifestation which can only last for two to three seconds unlike Star Knights with cultivation of Rank 6 or above. During this three seconds Max's Star power skyrocketed from Rank 3 peak to Rank 5 initial stage.

But Max was not sure to defeat the Burrow Spider who had a Rank 5 advanced stage cultivation within three seconds even with the boost. So he could only activate the space attribute to escape.

Max browsed all the materials inside the space ring. He wanted to build two small daggers and a set of boots. The daggers that he built previously were made of ordinary metals which could not even pass through the skin of a Rank 2 star beast. The claws of the Golden clawed- greyback wolf are very sharp. With the four claws of two wolves, he decided to build two daggers and a few needles from the remaining material when he walks out of the forest.

He wanted to leave the forest once he recovers his star power. He has not yet decided where to go once he walks out of the forest. He does not want to join a clan or empire so as not to restrict his freedom. So his only choice was to join a Star Knight Academy. Star Knight Academy is a type of school where children who awaken Star Power are trained. Students of a Star Knight Academy range from Rank 1 to Rank 6 Star Knights.

There are four Star Knight Academies in the mainland. He wants to attend one of the academies. As a peak Rank 3 Star Knight, he only has a body art and a foot work technique both of which are not attack type Star Skills. He did not find any blade type star skills in the clan. Now that he left the clan, he can only join a Star Knight Academy where there might be any Star Skills Suitable for him.

He has already polished his combat technique and fighting skills to maximum. But even if he had extremely high combat awareness, without any attack type star skill it would only be a waste.
