Operation Orwellian Roswell: Part Five

The trucks drove late into the night. However, their presence hadn't exactly gone unnoticed.

"Enter."

"Oppergrubenfuhrer, we have picked up anomalies all around the country."

"Why does this concern me?"

"We believe that we may be able to locate the origin, as for why this concerns you, earlier at one military installation, a group of soldiers claimed to be on a secret mission from you, however, their uniforms were strange and rather than a Nazi American Flag, they had strange American Flags."

The Oppergrubenfuhrer leans forwards in his chair. "American flags you say?"

"Yes Oppergrubenfuhrer."

"Bring me every file you have on these anomalies, then continue to monitor you station."

The man salutes and leaves. The Oppergrubenfuhrer picks up his desk phone and makes a call.

"I want barricades on every major highway in this country, we have intruders posing as Nazi officials on the move."

Meanwhile, the convoy had gone unimpeded as they made their way into Ohio when they were stopped by a Nazi patrol.

"Where are you headed?"

"To see the Oppergrubenfuhrer, he's expecting us."

The Nazi guard motions to his men who raise their weapons.

"Everyone out of the trucks."

"Everyone?" smiled Daniel tapping on the seat.

The Ghost exits the truck and stands over the Nazi officer.

"May I introduce you to the most dangerous man in all of this country, he claims to be Der Geist von Ottawa." said Daniel.

The Nazi officer scoffs, "Der Geist von Ottawa was killed off during our initial invasion of this god-forsaken country."

The Ghost chuckles, "This is why I love killing Nazi Officers, they'll die believing they are superior."

The Officer turns to him only for the Ghost to grab him by the head and crush his skull. "Anyone else wish to challenge me?"

The Nazis' open fire to find the BFPA had more uses than just flight. The twin radial engines of the armor spin up allowing the Ghost to have frightening speed, putting rounds through the Nazis before they can call for help. Once the patrol had been dealt with, the Ghost turns to everyone.

"Ditch the trucks, I will fly into D.C and bring Liberty Bell online, everyone else find somewhere to hide."

"Are you sure commander?"

"It's a job only I can complete."

The Ghost takes off into the sky, leaving his comrades behind.

"That man has serious problems thinking he can take on all of the Nazi American Reich."

"He'd do so willingly too." said Daniel as he and the others stashed the trucks.

"Come on people, we have to move."
