With everything that has happened, Matvey has decided that he wants a new security system at the club. That is the call that wakes me up—a request to meet him in his office so that we can fix the glaring weaknesses in security. Apparently Dominik's gift is not enough to make him sleep better at night.
While Dominik is now the owner of Club Redwood on paper, Matvey's wishes still take precedence when he decides to become involved. Everything about the business aspect of the club is above board and legal, but because it is a place where the brothers and associates often gather, it is still a Bratva concern and, therefore, a Matvey concern.
