HOTD part 18: Final battle start.

After the today events, the Takagi mansion finally achieved a calm and peaceful time after everyone went to sleep.

Everyone went to their beds except some guards stayed to watch over the gates and zombies coming, or some people couldn't sleep.

The night passed down in a calm atmosphere which giving the survivor a rest from all the events that happening around them and even remind the survivors of their past when everything was normal.

However, This atmosphere for some people seemed more like the calm before the storm arrive.

Few people stayed awake in the night like a red-haired boy that was eating in the rooftop and watching the stars while thinking about something.

Three people stayed awake while they seemed to prepare for something as they were sneaking quietly from the mansion before heading towards the main road.

Outside the mansion, inside a house, there were two people watching a map marked with a lot of spots about the mansion.

The map was filled with marks and notes, but if someone from the guards or Souichiro saw it, they will realize it was all the guards movements and routines in these last days even some survivors location and meeting places were drawn on the map.

"Do you think this will work?" the weapons gun said with a frown.

"Why it'll not work?" the suit man said while watching Takagi mansion from the window.

"Don't you see?" the weapons guy pointed at the map.

"Look how much of guards they have here and there even some of those survivors could help" the weapons guy said.

"Do you think we can blast our way, like this?" the weapons guy said.

"... Yes" the suit man pulled a cigarette before lighting it with his finger.

"What the hell" the weapons guy said like he is looking at a mad man.

"You know we are just third rank players, even if we surpassed normal humans physically and with our abilities, but don't forget the human powers were always their tools" the weapons guy said.

"They will surely have guns and weapons inside even explosives, although with our abilities we are not afraid of few guns and explosions, but don't forget our energy is limited" the weapons guy said before hitting the map with his fist.

"And now you are telling me we are going to rush inside like that without even creating some chaos or something?" the weapons guy said before looked at the suit man.

"Yes" the suit man said with a calm voice before looking at the weapons guy.

"I said we are going to attack directly, but I didn't say there will be no distraction" the suit man finished his cigarette before burning the rest into dust.

"What do you mean?" the weapons guy said.

"... I finally remembered you didn't buy any information about this world" the suit man said before moving towards the map.

"Destiny is a very vague concept for us player" the suit man said.

"No matter how we try to understand it from the mission is still surprise us with every discovery" the suit man looked at the weapons guy.

"You are the one that killed the protagonist... Tell me how much did you get?" the suit man asked.

"... 3000 coins and a D-class evaluation" the weapons guys said before realizing something.

"Very low reward, especially for the protagonist do you know why?" the suit man smiled.

"You don't mean" the weapons guy said.

"Yeah, the reason we are here in the first place... The destiny that got broken by that space ability player at the start" the suit man said with a grin.

"He broke the established destiny which left us only leftovers to take from, but for us players, such rewards are unacceptable because the missions will get harder and that reward will mean our victory and lose in another mission" the suit man said before looking at the map.

"Do you know this place?" the suit man said while pointing at the map.

"The main road leading towards the mansion" the weapons guy answered.

"Yes, that correct... Do you know? Even if destiny is broken now, but what left from it still working, and usually if you don't interfere, it will lead things into the correct path" the suit man smiled.

"Tomorrow there will be a school bus arriving here and leave after some time like the established destiny, but the protagonist is dead, so what do you think will happen" the suit man said.

"The event will change" the weapons guy said while the suit man shack his head.

"No, they will not because destiny will correct that and pick the most suitable candidate to kick them from the house, exactly like what happened before." the suit man smiled.

"We will just wait before the chaos to start and act, believe me, this is the best course of action even if our enemy decided to do something, it will just be in our advantage if we prepared" the suit man said before looking at the weapons guy.

"Honestly, I don't want to fight that space controller because it will be pointless and will cost a lot, but if we only do the missions without other benefits, it will hurt us in the next mission" the suit man said before leaving the room while putting a notebook on the table.

"Read this... It contains what will probably happen during this period and prepare for tomorrow" the suit man said before closing the door behind him.

"...*Sigh*..." after a while the weapons guy sigh while picking up the notebook.

"What did I do to deserve to be part of this" the weapons guy said while opening the not book.

"This was supposed to be an easy mission and an easy world but no, there has to be a space controller that might kill me at any time, and apparently he is good at planning...*sigh*..." the weapons guy said before focusing on the map and the notebook.

After a long night, the sun appeared in the sky announcing the start of another day.

Akashi was sitting on the roof while watching the people working or talking together.

"Any time soon" Akashi said before he waited for a while until a school bus appeared from the gate.

"... Well, here's the starting bell" Akashi said before standing up and looking at the teacher with a black suit coming with his student towards the mansion.

"If my guess is correct... this will only last for a half-hour" Akashi said before creating a flag and disappearing from the roof when nobody was watching.

The teacher and his student entered the house with some guards before Hirano with a gun appeared and pointed at the teacher while saying he is the reason why his friends died.

The conflict grew larger with the teacher trying to talk his way through this, and Hirano almost shooting before his friends and Souichiro appeared.

Souichiro told him that the teacher fate in his hands and he can kill him while the teacher started talking some nonsense about education.

However, Hirano looked at his friends in the back before removing the gun from the teacher head and leaving, while saying he isn't worthy of wasting his bullets.

The teacher and his student left the house on their bus after being kicked out by Souichiro.

"How dare he, that mother****er" the teacher started to curse in the bus silently, before his face had a disgusting grin.

"If you don't allow us to stay then you are not from us, and you know what we do with those guys? My dear students" the teacher turned towards his student before staring to say some sort of speech, but before he said a few words an object broke the bus window and hit him in the head.

The students were Terrified when they saw their teacher laying in the ground while bleeding from his head before they saw the object that hit him... A grenade.

Before the students even scream, the bus exploded while killing all of them directly and alarming all the surroundings.

Akashi that was on another rooftop was watching the bus that exploded because of the grenade that he throws with D4C.

[The player killed Koichi Shido and did a slight change in destiny]

"That was my last grenade" Akashi said while lowering his hand.

"I don't like to work with other people plans so here an option from me" Akashi said while watching the bus hitting a wall.

"No plans now... Because I just hit the starting bell for this last battle" Akashi said before D4C arm appeared with 5 lines on it.

"So... let's start" Akashi smiled before disappearing from his place while leaving only a flag that disappeared after a while.
