It had been a week since they left Winxu and headed towards Century Town because of the many dungeons and monsters there. With Davy's level, he could easily progress to the 2nd floor along with his friends, but he wanted to explore the whole 1st floor first.

On their way, they encountered many low-level monsters from time to time. Davy instructed Ella to take care of them so she could increase her level since she was the weakest. she had been observing him for quite some time and was very curious about one thing.

"Um, Davy, how did you lose your arm, if you don't mind me asking?" she asked nervously.

"Don't be rude, you shouldn't ask such a thing," Suzy scolded her.

"I've been curious as well," Sakura agreed with Ella.

"You guys, don't be so rude. He'll tell you when he's ready," Suzy defended him.

"It's fine, it's not like it's some big secret. A reaper wolf ate it. It was before I awakened. I was frozen in fear since it was the first monster I saw, but I got my revenge," he nonchalantly told them.

"Oh, sorry for asking," Ella said.

"It's fine, don't worry about it. I'm sure I'll find a way to get it back eventually."

They continued talking for a while until they reached a carriage in the middle of the path. It appeared a girl was being assaulted. Sakura attempted to go help, but he stopped her.

"You shouldn't get involved in someone's business until you analyze the situation. We don't even know who they are or why they're assaulting her," he said in a relaxed tone.

"I see, I acted on impulse. I'll be careful in the future," Sakura said, putting her sword back in its sheath.

"It's fine. People grow from their mistakes; it's part of what makes us humans."

The girl wore metal knuckles on her hands and light pink armor with shorts, indicating she was a close-range fighter. They charged at her, but she evaded and knocked one out with martial arts. Davy was surprised; he never thought he would see martial arts in the tower. She continued to evade them while landing critical blows on their pressure points.

A minute later, she was triumphant. She looked at Davy's team as they walked towards her, putting her guard up because of the aura Davy was releasing. He had suppressed his aura, but it still leaked out due to his lack of mastery over it.

"Hello there, you're pretty good at martial arts. Spar with me," he said with a smile on his face.

"WHAT?" His teammates all shouted at the same time.

"What's wrong with all of you? Why are you shouting?" he asked them as he looked back.

"Oh, you just surprised us, that's all," Suzy nervously replied.

The real reason they were shocked was that he asked to fight a martial artist with only one arm, but of course, they couldn't say that.

"Pfft, a one-armed swordsman wants to fight a martial artist? Don't be ridiculous and get out of my sight," she arrogantly replied.

"SHIT, THIS LITTLE BRAT IS PUSHING HER LUCK," Sakura thought to herself, nervously eyeing Davy.

He remained quiet for a little bit, pulled out his sword, and putting it in his inventory. He showcased some of the martial arts he had learned as a kid. Despite having only one arm, he flawlessly executed the moves, thanks to his current stats. The girl looked at him in shock.

"Do you still intend on looking down on me?" he confidently asked her.

"You're indeed good at the basics, and you seem to have a decent amount of aura too, but you're still too young to challenge me. I've spent 30 years polishing my skills. It's a disgrace to humiliate a beginner, especially one that's handicapped," she said, flipping her hair, proud of her words.

"Wait, are you a loli? I've never seen one before," he ignored what she said and changed the topic.

"What's a loli?" she asked in confusion.

"Never mind, just fight me. If you win, you can ask me for anything."

"Sigh, it seems you're the stubborn type. Very well, if you win, you can also ask for something."

They assumed their fighting stances. He wasted no time and charged toward her, attempting to land a punch. She easily dodged him and tried to kick his head, but he stepped back, charging again with more speed. He dodged her blows and landed a punch on her stomach. She moved back and smiled while wiping her mouth. She activated her aura and went on the offensive, attacking relentlessly, not giving him time to counter. After many exchanges, she finally hit him in the abdomen. He moved back to create some distance between them, but she kept chasing him. Her hits passed through his defenses easily, striking him repeatedly until he fell to the ground.

"Hmph, guess you're all talk, no bite. What a waste of time," she said while walking away.

A sudden chill ran down her spine, and she immediately turned around to look at him. With a menacing smile on his face, he charged towards her. He threw a punch, and she attempted to block it, but she was sent flying, receiving internal damage and coughing up blood. He appeared right in front of her, grabbed her face, and knocked her to the ground. He picked her up by the leg and threw her in the air. He jumped up to land the finishing blow, but he saw that she was unconscious. He stopped and caught her. Using [revealing eye] on her, he discovered that she was a low-silver rank, Izabella, level 55, and a CA of 45,000.

He headed towards the carriage while carrying her on his shoulder. Inside were two dead bodies, probably passengers, and one dead body in front which could only belong to the driver. He took the food inside the carriage and put it in his inventory, then looked back at the girls and yelled.

"Hey, let's get out of here before it gets dark!" he shouted as he walked away.

They walked a few kilometers and decided to set up camp in the area. He went and hunted some meat, and the girls prepared it. They ate up, and the girls went to sleep. After a few hours, Izabella woke up and jumped to her feet in confusion. She looked around and saw Davy. She let down her guard and sat down.

"So, I guess I lost," she said in a sad voice.

"Yeah, but you're pretty strong," he tried to comfort her.

"Pretty strong, my ass. You probably didn't even use half your strength. So, what do you want?"

"Nothing. I only wanted to spar with you," he replied while yawning.

"Seriously? That's it?"

"Sigh, fine, then tell me why those guys were after you."

She hesitated to answer, but a bet was a bet. Her pride as a martial artist wouldn't allow her to go back on her words. "They want me because of my body. I have special blood that allows me to look young forever. So what do you think people would do if they found out my blood has such an ability?"

"I see. You're pretty special, I guess. Good for you," he replied in a tone that showed little interest.

"I guess? That's all you have to say? Did you even hear me? I said I have blood that can make people look young forever," she shouted while looking at him intently.

"Okay, and? How exactly do you want me to respond?"

"Sound surprised or something. Come on."

He just looked at her. She was getting annoyed at how calm he was, even after hearing her secret. She stood up and walked into the woods to get away from him.

"Sigh, what is his deal? He didn't show any interest in me at all apart from fighting me. He's so weird," she mumbled to herself.

"Found you," said a voice in a menacing tone.
