Last Wish

Without hesitating, Qin Mu kicked open the door. The alley was dark, and he felt something was not right. Tang Ning was a girl. Even if she wanted to escape, she would never go to such a dangerous place.

He immediately pulled out his phone and called his assistant, Bai Tao, "Help me check a few surveillance cameras. Hurry!"

Not long after, a few videos appeared on his phone. It turned out, Tang Ning had been carried by a few people into a black car!

Qin Mu's face revealed a trace of viciousness. He wanted to know who had the audacity to kidnap Tang Ning right under his nose!

When Tang Ning woke up, she was already lying in a beautiful and luxurious room. A strange man stood beside her, "Miss Tang, you're awake?"

Tang Ning tried to get up, "Who are you? Where am I?"

"Don't be afraid!" The man said in a gentle voice, "My name is Du Sheng. I didn't want to bring you here in such a way, but I can't let anyone know about this."

Tang Ning looked at Du Sheng. His smile was gentle, especially his canine teeth as he looked like a cute student.

"Why did you bring me here?"

Du Sheng replied, "Later, I want you to meet someone. You'll find out later."

Tang Ning tidied up her clothes and followed Du Sheng to another room.

It appeared to be an office study room. An old woman with gray hair sat on a luxurious chair carved out of sandalwood. She looked at Tang Ning kindly.

"Were you the one looking for me?"

"Come here!" The old woman waved at Tang Ning. It seemed like waving her hand would take all her energy to do so.

Tang Ning could not help but feel worried. "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. I just wanted to see you!"

Tang Ning felt a little strange. Why was the old woman looking at her?

"You're Tang Ning, but can I call you Ning Ning?"

"Yes, you can."

"Ning Ning, don't blame me for bringing you here all of a sudden. I've no choice. Here. Sign this contract!"

Tang Ning thought for a moment and seemed to understand something. After all, a mother would not kill her child. The reason why her parents tried to frame her time and time again was probably because, as Shan Shan had said, they were not Tang Ning's biological parents!

Tang Ning was halfway through her sentence when she realized that the old woman had already closed her eyes. Her hands was still resting on Tang Ning's hands, but the warmth on her hands was slowly fading...

Tang Ning turned around to look at Du Sheng, but he had already fallen to his knees and was crying out in pain.

It was only then that Tang Ning realized the old woman had already passed away.
