Events behind the scenes

Since our main hero is taking a break, I will take on the job of being the narrator. Who am I? No need to know. I won't appear much anyway.

Our main hero is one of those super rare ultra cheat characters. He doesn't realize it himself but he is indeed one of those.

But that doesn't mean he is invulnerable. He is still quite vulnerable. I won't go into details.

Ever since arriving on Jupiter, he has kept a low profile. Except during his adventurer registration and when he showed up at the castle to warn his acquaintances.

However, this has started something that he isn't aware of. To him, everything which doesn't interest him is worthless. He won't even spare a thought. So he doesn't know that he has become somewhat a legend.

The guild master has issued an order to other adventurers to not tell anyone about him. But curious people and idiots are everywhere. Those who felt humiliated by him are planning to exact revenge. And the curious people are trying to somehow associate themselves with him.

Fay is working behind the scenes to control that. But she can only do so much. However, Clive should be kept in dark about these. After all, what do you do to pests who annoy you? Exterminate them. Clive will do the same thing.

A city or two doesn't matter to him. He will thoroughly enjoy that feeling. The second commotion was at the castle.

He showed up before the king and threatened him. The king was clueless at first but after gathering some intel, he is now prepared to attack Clive.

That would be dumb. On so many levels that we can't even hope for him to survive. Because, Clive always works with a no mercy attitude.

The king has ordered the summoned heroes to take care of Clive. They are also the ones who provided the most information about him.

Because, all of them knew Clive since childhood. Clive did warn them to not make any moves. So they are trying to get the king to make a move.

After all, being a king, you will have a greater sense of pride. Clive has directly hurt the king's pride. He will stop at nothing.

The conversation with the summoned heroes went like this.

"Who was that uncouth fool?" (King)

"He was and unfortunately is from our world." (Trevor)

"What? We only summoned 30 of you. How can someone other than you 30 can come here?" (King)

"I don't know. He said that he came here on his own." (Trevor)

"Impossible. That is not possible. Other than summoning magic, no one can go to your home world. Even our gods do not go there." (King)

"That is the problem. But since he is here, we are in danger!" (Trevor)

"Danger? Is that boy dangerous?" (King)

"Yes. He is a demon wearing a human skin. A cold hearted killer. At the age of 10, he killed a man. Without any hesitation, he killed that man in front of all of us. He didn't even show any remorse after killing him. I clearly saw his eyes. Like he crushed a bug." (Trevor)

The king shivered a bit. But he kept asking things about him. Then he remembered what Clive told him.

"It was nice meeting you. And don't try to pull a stunt like that. Fay doesn't like it."

He remembered what he said. A question arose in his mind.

How does he know Fay? Did he come here using Fay?

"Where is Monica? Is she awake yet?" (King)

"Yes. She has regained consciousness." (Gwen)

"Then bring her here. She is the one who first came into contact with him, right?" (King)

"Yes. However she fainted somehow. I don't know but when Clive appeared, my body froze. I couldn't move an inch." (Gwen)

"Is that so? Does he have some sort of power?" (King)

"How is that possible? Our previous world didn't have magic or blessings. There's no way a normal human from that world can have magic or blessings." (Trevor)

The king pondered. If that is true, then what was that? When Clive appeared out of nowhere, everyone was taken by surprise. But then one of the guards thrust his spear at him and it was broken before it even reached him.

Does Clive possess magic and a blessing from a god or something else? That question is still unanswered.

"General Vindolf, begin searching for that boy. Search every part of this kingdom. After finding, bring him to me. I need answers." (King)

"As you wish, your majesty. Should I deploy 100 soldiers?" (Vindolf)

"No. That boy is tricky. I think you should take your whole unit. Scour every part of this city. Don't leave any stones unturned. If you don't have enough manpower, employ the guild as well. Adventurers are after all, experts at finding things." (King)

"What should we do, your majesty?" (Gwen)

"You otherworlders stay put. The prophecy is yet to be made. One week from now, the oracle will give us the prophecy. May you all be victorious in this battle against the evil." (King)

This happened while Clive is sick. But it'll take a while for them to actually find Clive. Because, they did not expect him to be staying at Fiona's house.

The king isn't a fool. He is just too devoted to Jupiter and his blind devotion has made him blind towards the actions of the gods. If it's in the name of the gods, he is willing to go to any lengths.

Anyway, Clive still has a long road ahead as he has just arrived at this planet. Fighting isn't a problem for him but he will stick out a little too much for his liking.

I hope he gets well soon and the holes get filled. With this my job here is done.
