[Third Person's PoV]
"I'm home!" Peter exclaimed as he stepped inside.
"Ah, you're back. If you'd come any later, we might have had a problem, young man," Aunt May called from the kitchen.
Glancing over from the couch, Uncle Ben squinted at Peter and asked, "What happened to your face?"
Thinking quickly, Peter fabricated, "Oh, Gwen and I were practicing martial arts."
"Is it wise to go to school looking like that?" inquired Uncle Ben.
"Don't worry, these bruises are minor. They'll be gone by tomorrow morning... I'm heading to do some laundry," Peter reassured.
Confused, Uncle Ben questioned, "What?, laundry?"
"Just so I'll have clean clothes for school tomorrow," Peter replied awkwardly.
Uncle Ben gave Peter a suspicious side glance and slowly nodded in response.
Peter began his chore of collecting the scattered heap of dirty clothes strewn across the house. As he reached the washer, he unzipped his backpack, carefully extracting his blood-stained Spider-Man attire and placed it inside.
Gathering the laundry into the washer, Peter leaned against the nearby counter, his mind drifting to the intricacies of his superhero suit. Retrieving his phone, he manipulated it, conjuring a holographic projection of his Spider-Man costume.
"Even with bullet-resistant materials, the suit won't hold up under sufficient damage," Peter muttered to himself, engrossed in thoughts of upgrading the suits and tailoring specialized ones for different missions.
Lost in the holographic interface, Peter brainstormed various modifications, contemplating enhancements to withstand diverse threats. Meanwhile, the cycle ended, prompting Peter to transfer the freshly cleaned clothes to the dryer.
Interrupted by Aunt May's call for dinner, Peter swiftly responded, "I'll be right there!"
Joining his aunt and uncle at the dinner table, conversations about mundane matters and daily routines ensued. They exchanged tales of their day, sharing anecdotes and catching up on familial affairs, temporarily setting aside the extraordinary lives they led beyond the confines of their home.
After helping Aunt May with the dishes, Peter went back to the dryer. He first put his hero suit back in his bag and then started folding the remaining clothes. Once done, he delivered the folded clothes to their respective rooms.
"Going down to the lab!" Peter shouted when he finished.
"Don't stay up too late; you've got school!" Aunt May shouted back.
In the basement lab, Peter went to a secret compartment and started gathering the materials he needed to fix his suit.
...
Meanwhile, Gwen had already finished cleaning and fixing her suit. She lay in bed, holding her mask in the air, she was softly caressing it with her thumb as she started reflecting on her day and how close she came into contact with death.
She started touching the mask, thinking about the time she was knocked out. Putting on the mask, she called out, "Arnny, are you there?"
"I'm always available to help," Arnny replied.
"Can you show me what happened during the time I was unconscious from Peter's perspective?"
"Certainly," Arnny responded.
"Huh? Really? I thought you might have said it was private or only accessible to Peter. I was honestly just taking a guess with that question."
"Father has given me instructions in case of any events; he has granted you full access to my facilities."
Gwen softly smiled before observing everything that occurred from another perspective. To say she was surprised would be an understatement; witnessing Peter so concerned about her touched her heart deeply. The sight of him referring to her as his woman, expressing his love, and his fierce protectiveness on her behalf, to the point of almost killing someone and stopping just before dealing the final blow, made Gwen blush.
She rolled around in bed, giggling to herself. "Hehehe, he called me his woman," Gwen said, kicking her feet in excitement.
After her playful moment, she lay in bed with her arms stretched out, sighing deeply. "Sighhh, I honestly don't deserve someone as amazing as him for a boyfriend. I'm so lucky to have him."
Gwen pondered for a moment before asking, "Arnny, is my dad asleep?"
Glancing toward her dad's direction, Arnny scanned the area behind a wall. After a few seconds, Arnny replied, "Affirmative."
Gwen nodded and changed into her superhero outfit, then turned invisible before exiting through the window.
In the dead of night, Gwen swung her way to Peter's house. Upon arrival, she sat on his rooftop, lying down and watching the stars, finding solace in their gentle glow.
After half an hour of peaceful stargazing, Gwen headed towards Peter's room. She knocked on his window, waiting for a response, hoping to find him there.
When Peter didn't answer, Gwen asked Arnny, "Do you know if he's asleep?"
"Negative... he's currently in the process of stopping a store robbery as we speak," Arnny informed her.
Gwen, hearing this, whispered in frustration, "Are you kidding me! Without me! Grrr, how could he..."
Just as Gwen was about to leave to find Peter, she noticed the lights on in MJ's room across the street, recalling MJ's recent ordeal.
"I should check up on her; she's my best friend after all."
Gwen turned invisible once more and crossed the street, climbing up to MJ's house. Peering through the window into MJ's room, Gwen's eyes widened at the sight: MJ was resting her head on her arm at her study table, gently caressing a picture of her and Peter from their childhood, a tear streaming down her cheek.
'Oh Fuck,' Gwen expressed in her head at witnessing something she shouldn't have.
