22 April, 2013.
Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's flat.
Spider-Man/Peter Parker.
I wake up unaccustomedly slowly, emerging from the realm of Morpheus with a lingering pleasure.
My head tingles slightly.
Is it a hangover?
I try to get up, but the even pressure from both sides doesn't let me do it. I look sideways, perplexed, and, on my left side, I see a head as white as the first snow, and on my right, the familiar fiery honey.
Mary and Fey, with their legs thrown up on me, are snuggled up on either side of me, sleeping peacefully.
I think back to last night and an idiotic smile spreads across my face.
"I can congratulate you on acquiring another female, Bearer," the alien's snide voice breaks the blissful slumber.
"I should rip your tongue out, Raj," I state to the symbiote with exaggerated displeasure.
"If you believe the common human saying, there's no offence in telling the truth," the alien continues to sneer.
In response, I only sigh and carefully free myself from the girls lying on top of me. However, having lost me as a pillow, the girls immediately enclose me in each other's arms. Fey rests her cheek on the top of MJ's head, while Mary uses the blonde's breasts as a pillow.
"Raj, do you think if I take a picture of them now, do you think I'll be hurt badly enough to get killed?"
"Knowing your females? Undoubtedly," the alien states in an overly serious tone. But I can sense his humour.
Putting on my underwear, I quietly leave the bedroom.
"And stop calling girls my females," I say to the symbiote on my way to the bathroom.
Having done my business, I go to the couch and put on my jeans.
"I apologise, Bearer, your girls," the Symbiote finally replies.
"That's better."
I make my way to the kitchen and look in the fridge.
Too bad there's no mineral water, but orange juice will do just as well. I open the two-litre gallon and greedily start drinking. When I'm almost halfway through, I stop.
- It's good," I say quietly.
I glance at my watch:
Eight in the morning.
"Raj, do you think you could make breakfast?"
"I think your very...um, ahem, ahem, girls would like it."
Ignoring the Symbiote's reservation, I open the fridge and pull out the necessary ingredients.
Eggs, bacon, milk.
"Should I make pancakes too?"
The natural cooking process begins.
In between slicing bacon and stirring the ingredients, my thoughts drifted back to last night.
Yes. It had finally happened.
To be honest, the feeling is not the same.
Of course, I'm damn glad it happened. I love Mary, but my feelings for Felicia are strong. At first it was just a "what if?" fantasy, and then we started working together. The incident at her flat. Then things kind of calmed down.
How could I have guessed that these lovely ladies would start plotting something like this on their own?
I chuckle a little.
I didn't even have to do anything myself.
Except...now what?
When MJ and Fey wake up, how do we proceed?
What if one or both of them realise it was a mistake.
Or will they expect me to?
And if they enjoyed it as much as I did, then what then?
- Good morning, Tiger.
My musings were interrupted by the sleepy but contented voice of a certain blonde millionaire.
- I didn't expect that nickname from your lips," I nod greetingly, handing Hardy a cup of coffee.
The girl nods appreciatively.
- Did the redhead usurp the nickname?
- She's the author," I shrug slightly.
Felicia gracefully sauntered over to me with a flash of her eyes.
- What should I call you then? - hugging me by the neck, a little capricious tone asked the blonde, - Spider is not to call in the cafe.
- Think of something, Kitten, - I answered to the girl's embrace, and bit her earlobe a little, - though to be a tiger for my kitties is a tempting prospect.
Fey trembles slightly. I can feel her arousal in my skin.
- I'll keep that in mind, Pete," the blue pools look at me with rabid lust.
- Breakfast is ready.
I break the embrace and turn back to the cooker, smiling at Cat's barely restrained growl.
Sensing the finality of the moment, the blonde simply sat down at the table and waited for the food. Placing the finished dishes on plates, I heard the bedroom door creak open.
"Looks like your other female has come to the smell of food."
Habitually ignoring Raj, I turn around.
- Good morning," MJ said, yawning.
- Morning," I replied a little nervously, glancing at Hardy.
- Morning, Carrot-top," Fey said calmly, pulling back the chair next to her.
Mary Jane, stretching, walked over and sat down next to Felicia.
To my relief, Fey started playing with MJ's curls, and the redhead playfully dodged the blonde's hands.
Handing Watson her cup of coffee and a portion of breakfast.
- Thank you, Tiger," the girl kisses me.
Leaving my own welcoming kiss, I sit down at the side of the girls.
We start having breakfast in a rather warm and cosy atmosphere.
The sunlight is shining through the windows. It is slightly cool in the kitchen, because yesterday I didn't close the window completely, and the noise of the TV is not interfering with the events that are happening. Grace.
But it's still necessary to set the record straight.
I finish my coffee in one gulp.
- I think we need to talk.
MJ doesn't bring her fork to her mouth, and Fey twitches slightly.
The girls glance round, then look at me.
- Yeah, I guess we should," Mary replies slightly unsure, moving slightly away from Felicia. The redhead is now equidistant from Cat and me.
- What do you think about what happened? - taking the bull by the horns, asked Hardy, scrutinising me.
Carrot repeated her action, glancing at me.
Sighing slightly, I lift my head and look up at the ceiling.
"What's your answer, Bearer?"
The curiosity in Symbiote's voice could be scooped out in buckets. Still, having absorbed information about the world around me through the matrix of my personality, the Clintarian was immensely curious.
"The truth, Raj. Just the truth."
- I don't like innuendo, especially in matters like this, you both know that," I look at the girls, who don't interrupt and just listen, "so I'll answer honestly.
I stop talking for a while, gathering my thoughts.
- What happened last night was great. And not just because I slept with two dazzling beauties," I savour the sight of both girls blushing. I didn't think Felicia could be embarrassed. Nice," I'd been struck with strong feelings for each of you, and while Mary was definitely a long cherished crush, Fey was a wild freedom: rooftops, patrols, costumes. It was as if each of my parts was drawn to both of you, but with MJ we started a relationship and I would never dare to cheat on the girl I loved. Cat, on the other hand, won my heart in a different way," I smile slightly.
- And how is that? - The blonde asked emotionally.
It was obvious that Mary Jane was damn curious too.
Interested.
"Raj, would you mind tuning in to the emotional background coming from the girls?"
"Of course, Bearer .
- Curious how, Kitten? - I tease Hardy a little.
- Don't pause, Tiger!" exclaimed Mary emotionally this time.
- 'It didn't happen during our little dinner, or after a, rather heated, meeting in your apartment.
- No? - Fey asked in astonishment.
- No," I got up from my chair and approached the blonde. - It happened when we started to fight crime together, to work as a team, to learn to rely on each other," I tucked a loose strand behind Cat's ear. - It was when the atmosphere between us was calm that I started to grow attached to you.
Felicia's cheeks flushed slightly and she looked into my eyes.
- So, of course, I put my plan into action," I mumbled, returning to my seat.
Fey, awake from our little conversation, and Mary, who was listening intently, looked at each other.
- Plan? - they asked in unison.
- As I said, I had certain thoughts after meeting each of you, I was in love with Mary, and after working with Fey for so long, I realised that she was also amazing, so I thought, why not take a chance? So I suggested you two meet.
- Wait a minute," Mary raises her hand, "you suggested we meet so Fey would know we were seeing each other and so I wouldn't be jealous of you, didn't you?
- That's one of the points. I also wanted Felicia to understand me a little more through talking to you, Carrot, and for the two of you to find a common language.
The girls looked at each other, as if realising the scheme I'd concocted.
I hope I don't get killed.
- What if MJ and I didn't like each other? - MJ and I didn't like each other," the blue-eyed girl frowned.
- Then I'd put my plan on hold, but believe me, I'd do everything I could to break the ice and bring what happened yesterday closer.
There was a brief silence.
- I am, of course, a brilliant thief, but I can't help admiring your plan for stealing the hearts of two beautiful ladies, Mr Parker," said Fey rather high-pitchedly.
- Albeit sewn up with white threads," Mary added.
- Erm, thanks, I suppose," I rubbed the back of my head lightly. - 'Except we haven't really come to a decision, so what now?
- Can I tell you? - Felicia raised her hand slightly uncertainly. - It's like I'm the cat that stirred up your warm family nest," she said, even though she was trying to make a joke, a slight note of fear in her voice.
MJ and I looked at each other and nodded to our...friend?
- I think I'll follow our hero's example and tell it like it is. My personal life has always been a mess, and I've never been attached to people," Fey was silent for a moment, but MJ squeezed her hand. The blonde nodded gratefully. - So I was looking for freedom in rooftops and night walks, too, but then we met, Pete, and you fell into my soul. Maybe because of your tight suit or your hero image. Certainly not the stupid jokes.
- Hey, they're great!
The girls just giggled in a friendly and very cute way.
- That's when I started to fall in love with you, and then our jogging, and finally the information about the girl," Watson looked at me slyly, "that's when I decided to calm my emotions, but not to give up and get closer to you. I was jealous, to be honest. Then our partnership and that night. The offer to meet Mary was a spontaneous phrase thrown by a horny girl, but after she agreed, I got curious.
- And curiosity killed the cat? - I couldn't resist a joke.
- Yes, it did," Fey looked slyly at me now and put her free palm on Mary's hand. - I didn't do well with my mates either. I've always been a cat walking on my own. But after that meeting in the café, Carrot-top was as hooked on me as you were, Spider. Months of talking and then a fight and then a reconciliation. That's when we had our moment.
MJ was a little embarrassed.
- I wish I'd seen it," I resent her, sighing.
The girls just shook their heads at my statement, saying, "An idiot, but our idiot.
- So I don't want to put any labels and embarrass you, as long as we're doing well, then why rush?
Felicia finished her sentence and looked at the redhead. I repeated after her.
- Is it my turn now? - Mary asked, smiling slightly. - I don't see much point in going into a long discussion. You both know how I behave with others: lightness, non-seriousness, simplicity, that's what gives people the impression of "Mary Jane's fool". Only a few people look behind that mask, and only you two know the real me," MJ takes Fey and me by the hands, "you know why I act the way I do, and what happened in my life, and I know about you and your stories," the redhead smirks slightly, "my roof jumpers.
At this comment we laugh amicably.
- So," Carrot continues, "I'll answer honestly, I love Peter more than anything in the world and I'm wildly in love with Felicia," the green-haired girl blushes slightly, "honestly, this is the first time I've ever felt so deeply for a girl who isn't my relative. So I agree that the three of us should take our time, but," MJ turns to Fey, "Kitten, know that we love you and that you are always welcome here, you haven't stirred up anyone's nest, have you, Tiger?
- That's right," I agreed with Mary.
Cat just hugs us tightly in return.
- Thank you," the blonde whispers softly.
Carrot-top and I just hug Felicia back.
It's all good now.
