Drifting down a river with the current was about as exciting as anyone might expect it to be. The ship floated out of Edain, steadily making its way down the river. After securing their horses, Edol's team joined the crew up on the deck.
A few sturdy wooden boxes had been dragged out into an open area, and a handful of sailors sat around it. Their hands were mitted to prevent the still-cold air from biting at their skin, but their gloves were thin enough not to prohibit them from playing the game set out before them.
"-Ehem…"
The captain loudly cleared his throat as Edol's group approached the table, and a few of the men there quickly tucked the game they were playing into the folds of their coats.
"I'm sure some of you saw this group coming on board, but it's best if I introduce them to you formally."
