Just over two days passed since the team left Hearth, and they were finally approaching the city of Edain. They still had a lot further to travel until they reached Lund, but they would be stopping very briefly to pick up a few more members and to grab the rest of the gear they would need.
The group didn't plan on staying the night, instead hoping to move past the city and set up a campsite in the southern fields.
A few sighs could be heard among the group of hunters as they traveled through the fields before the city. A few hunters would come south regularly to trade and grab more supplies, but some of them hadn't left Hearth for years.
"Aye, it's just like I remember! Drab and boring!"
All of the fields had long since been harvested, and a thin layer of snow was coating the ground.
The road was veritable slush, and their horses sometimes struggled to keep their footing on the roads.
