Chapter 3

There was no answer.

June stood there quiet for a minute before calling out again.

"Wow.. is this how you treat your customers! I'm gonna write a bad... Very bad review for you guys."

She turned around unwillingly, as she heard a coarse masculine voice speak from behind.

"We value our customers a lot, ma'am. Sorry for the delay. Please come in."

The man spoke politely leading the way as June entered into a sitting area with large mirrors and attached chaired compartments.

She threw her bag carelessly and sank in one of the chairs.

"What do you have?"

She asked the man, with her eyes closed.

Her head was leaned on the backrest of the chair as she murmured again.

"I'm damn tired. Do whatever best you have."

"Sure ma'am." The man handed her a catalogue courteously.

June opened her eyes and read the words.

"The last one... Whatever is best." She remarked politely.

The man took the catalogue from her.

"This way ma'am." He replied, pointing towards the direction leading inside one of the small massage chambers inside the spa.

"I can't walk..." June let out a soft inaudible growl as she reluctantly got up from the chair and followed the man inside.

It was a dimly lit room with a small resting place for clients to lie down during massage. There was a round jacuzzi attached at one corner of the room. There were a few machines. But, June had no clue what they were.

A sweet aroma tantalised her nostrils as she walked inside the cabin.

"Sit down here, please."

The man spoke softly.

June followed his instructions and sat on the bed.

"Ma'am, here female masseuse are appointed to massage female clients. But, right now we don't have any. So, if you permit, I would continue the service. A head message and a foot perhaps."

The man politely remarked.

"You telling this to me now...!" June groaned again.

"You know what, my life sucks."

The man stood quietly for a few moments, waiting for her approval. But, sensing the delay, he took a fresh white towel and wrapped it around her shoulder.

June closed her eyes as a cool gasp of air from the air-conditioner hit her skin. And then she felt his hands on her head.

A pair of strong masculine yet gentle hands. He ruffled her hair skillfully and pressed her temples in a rhythmic circular motion, letting her close her eyes in utter relaxation.

"Ah.. " a small groan left her mouth unknowingly.

"Are you comfortable?"

The man asked gently.
