Ep.36 Combat Robot and a bounty

Mike was running red lights, driving on the sidewalk and broke multiple other traffic laws while he said as he drove as fast as he could to his store

"System, is it possible for people trying to get into the store to get in?"

The system waited a few seconds before showing Mike a photo of a few masked men trying to dust down the door with force

[The unknown entities have broken the barrier but have had no luck breaking the door]

Mike let out a sigh of relief before he heard the system say as the exchange page opened up to an item called [Store Combat Android] that costs 10k points

[It is recommended to buy a [Store Combat Android] for 10 thousand points for the store]

Mike focused on driving and asked as he noticed some cops chasing Mike from the rear view mirror

"How effective are these Androids?"

The system pulled a small 3D hologram of the android that held two swords in its hands and said

[you may only afford the weakest one but it will have the strength and speed of a C-Rank class of your choice meaning you can have it be a swordsman, assassin, a wizard or a priest]

Mike remembered he had a little over 12k points heard the police saying for him to pull over but ignored the police and said as he saw his old apartment building down the block

"Ok ok ok just buy it then and set it to assassin I want a nimble fighter"

Just then as Mike turned the corner to see the masked men still trying their best to enter the store the Assassin android appeared with a noticeable Green Center eye in the seat next to him and turned to Mike saying

Mike said as put on his mask and got out of the car with the android getting out of the car too

"Immobilize these men but do not kill them unless necessary"

The android scanned each of the masked men and said as it's to hands formed daggers and its center eye turned red

Just as Mike pulled out his staff he yelled

"Stop what your doing and surrender!"

The masked men turned and saw Mike and the android before one of them took out a small photo and whispered something to the others before they stopped trying to enter the store and started to surround Mike and the android while taking out their weapons before one of them directly in front of Mike said as he took out two two-Handed battle axes and pointed one of them at Mike

"Your head with be enough proof for the bounty"

Mike was shocked before he saw these men weren't for his books of magic but instead for his live and said as he casted his [Speed boost] and [Moon Walker] and his [Lesser strength boost]

"Android, you may begin"

Almost instantly the android started attacking the masked men opposite from where mike was facing as he was occupied with the masked warriors in front of him as they stormed Mike all at once that would have been too fast for Mike to see however Mike quickly retaliated with a [FireBolt] spell for each of them only for them to slide back with a few burn marks on their clothes and the masked man said to mike

"Don't expect Help to arrive in time to save you since we warded the area off to the outside world when we saw you approach us"

Mike smiled and said as he put away his staff and sat down with his eyes closed

"You may be warrior's, but you still would need more training in my eyes"

Just as one of the masked men was about to shoot an arrow at Mike the android came in and swiftly killed the men by snapping his head off before it quickly killed the other leaving the man with two axes the only one alive or conscious before the man threw his axe and smashed the android in half before a message appeared for Mike saying

[<Assassin Android#1> has been destroyed>]

Mike was angry that he essentially wasted 10 thousand points but he knew he had to focus on the fight before Mike started to clear his mind and controlled his breathing before he heard the masked man say as he swung his axe down on Mike who was sitting still on the ground

"You will pay for killing my men!"

Just then in a split second mike casted his mobility skills and his strength boost and made a series of swift and relentless attacks on the mans arms and chest just as the man had imagined he had won the fight he felt like he was facing a monster before he took off his cloak and said as he stood tall despite his hands started to shake a little

"I am the Mad slayer! I have killed hundreds of awakened men and women who have fought against me in my contracts and I refuse to be killed here!"

Mike got in a loose yet hardened fighting stance and said

"You talk to much, come and fight or surrender"

Just then the barrier shattered like glass with Raiu

Charging through the opening and seeing the masked man was about to attack Mike before Raiu blasted the man with a [ThunderBolt] for a minute before Mike yelled as he run over to Raiu

"Raiu stop! Stop!!"

Raiu turned and looked happy to see Mike and said once the telepathic link was connected

'Master! I took care of the meany! Are you hurt?'

Mike looked to see the man unconscious but alive and said as the barrier fell and cops and awakened soldiers approached the scene

"I'm fine Raiu, I'm fine"

Just then the system said as it highlighted the broken Assassin Android

[would you like to use 1,000 points to restore your <Android Assassin#1>?]

Mike immediately clicked yes before the broken android started to repair itself and stood in front of Mike and said as its eye turned back to green

Mike saw Aylin's car pull up and said to the android before it disappeared into mikes store

"Good now Go and wait inside the store"

Aylin looked at the scene and was about to say something to Mike when she recognized the two battle axes and walked over to see the unconscious man lying on the ground and said after she turned around to see Mike comforting Raiu

"We're you the one who defeated this man?"

Mike patted Raiu and said with a smile

"No that was thanks to Raiu here but do you know who he is? He called himself the Maddest slayer but that name doesn't ring a bell"

Aylin pulled out a pair of handcuffs with some red gems on them and said as she cuffed the man

"John Cole aka The mad slayer has been involved with over 300 murders of awoken men and women over the last two years with the power of a double A-rank hunter"

Mike felt dumbfounded that such a man like him wanted him dead before Aylin asked Mike

"This scum must've been hired to kill you so can you think of anyone who would want you dead"

Mikes face grew cold and said full of malice and anger

"I know only one who would, Gideon Grames"

Aylin heard the name and immediately called the chairmen and said once it was answered

"Sir, we have a problem involving Mr.Grant that needs your attention"

The chairmen felt annoyed and was hesitant to say anything before he asked

"What happened?"

Aylin only explained the situation and heard the chairmen say before he hung up and left to go to the lobby

"Set a meeting with the family head of the Grames Family"

Once the chairmen had reached the lobby he told the attendant at the desk before a car pulled up

"I will be indisposed for the day"

The attendant nodded and said before the chairmen left to go into the car and said to the driver before they drove off

"Go to the Xailin compound and hurry"
