Kyoko was silent when she heard this as she bit her lip, only to nod weakly and tearfully.

Kyōka felt bad for saying this, but there was no other way to make her companion desist.

She knew she was being cruel to her friend, however there was no way she could put her in danger after failing to protect her.

"I'm sorry" - Kyōka muttered before indicating to Shio and Sapphire, who had returned, to protect Kyoko.

The two little girls nodded firmly as the group watched Kyōka run to the place where Cloud's presence was.

Cloud's scream echoed one last time in the area as he hugged himself in an attempt to resist the pain.

Cloud was so focused on his physical suffering, that he didn't notice how the fragments of the [7 Sins] Set, had left his inventory and were being absorbed into his body unconsciously, increasing his pain again.

He could feel the blood escaping from every orifice of his face, how his body was slowly breaking down, how his blood was starting to soak all his clothes as his agony continued for what seemed like hours even though only a few minutes had passed.

Cloud was in so much pain, he couldn't even say a single word because there was no way to articulate them.

He was in a state that he was honestly wishing for a quick death even though he was feeling everything with absolute lucidity.

It was as if his body was expressing to him to experience this suffering without missing a single detail, which made it much worse because his sensitivity was extremely high.

Cloud was rolling on the floor, looking for some way to reduce the pain a little, when he heard someone appear in front of him.

Slowly, he looked up, only to watch with hatred as the one responsible for capturing Kyoko appeared in front of him.

Carefully, he tried to reach out his hand to try to catch this bastard, but the hurt made it impossible.

"I don't know what happened, I don't care to know how you ended up this way either" - Shaiapouf said excitedly as he felt a delicious scent coming from the blond that had been tormenting him - "I don't care to know either".

Cloud gritted his teeth furiously as he felt something inside him seem to shift slightly along with his anger.

Unbeknownst to the two, something began to glow in Cloud's chest as Shaiapouf gloated at his hunter's current state.

Shaiapouf was about to attack, when he sensed that something had changed.

The blond was not shivering as before from the pain, in fact, he was now looking at him with fierce red eyes.

Shaiapouf froze as he felt his instincts again screaming at him to move, to escape as fast as possible, but his legs wouldn't move an inch.

Cloud slowly moved to his paralyzed victim as his dark skin turned crimson red, then jet black.

His scarlet scales, quickly took on a darker and darker hue as the tribal markings disappeared.

Cloud's pupils slowly changed, these were returning to their normal form with reptilian pupil as he continued to move against Shaiapouf, as if he was a man who had just come out of the desert and was desperate to drink the water from an oasis he had found at the end of this long journey.

Cloud was showing the most distorted smile he could show as he extended his dark hand.

Shaiapouf tried to scream, however, no sound was coming out of her throat because Cloud was holding his tightly.

Cloud's face slowly changed to one of a dragon very different from his former appearance.

Before, he was practically similar to Acnalogia, leaving only a few details like the color of his scales and his pupils, however now, he was very different.

He was taking on a much more oriental appearance, a more elongated head and a neck that extended even further. His silver scales had disappeared, and were now as black as the deepest abyss.

Shaiapouf watched in terror as the beast opened its jaw and gave him a firm bite that tore off one of his arms.

Cloud again opened its snout and began to slowly devour the body of the still living Shaiapouf, as if it was enjoying its suffering, ignoring the very minute increase in stats.

The first thing that crossed his mind, was that his DNA had become unbalanced again, but after trying to observe if he could take a human form, he noticed how this was much simpler, but at the same time restrictive.

Without a second thought, he returned to his "original" human form, and looked at his body, noticing how not only was he naked, but also some parts of his body had changed.

His once blue eyes were now golden, a color that was not very common, although natural among the different dimensions. A front lock of his blond hair, was now black like the scales of his new dragon form, and finally, his body was much slimmer with better toned muscles, though still maintaining his swimmer's figure.

"What was that all about?" - Cloud muttered as he frowned, trying to remember what had happened, however noticing how his memories seemed to have been erased because there was no way to remember what had happened after losing control and drinking the [Nidhogg's Blood], so he quickly opened the menu and went to check his Stats.
