She sees Ryan a vampire sitting at the other table talking to someone whom she could not see his face. But she ignored.
With her heart racing she walks towards him and stood before Ryan, her senses tingling with the unmistakable presence of his vampire powers. She knew she had to act quickly before he realized her true intentions.
With a coy smile,Victoria leaned in closer, her voice dripping with seduction.
"Ryan" Victoria whispered her words laced with a dangerous allure "Why don't we go somewhere more… private?"
Victoria already knew his name because if the organization she was working for. " This vampire is dead". She said inwardly and smirked.
Ryan's eyes widened, captivated by Victoria's charm and sexy smirk. He could not resist the temptation that emanated from her.
Little did he know he was walking right into her trap.
As they found themselves alone in the dimly lit room.
Victoria's facade faded away, replaced by a steely determination.
Without warning, she unleashed her fury, her fists connecting with Ryan's body in a flurry of powerful strikes.
Each blow landed with perfect precision, fueled
by her knowledge of his vampire abilities. Ryan struggled to defend himself, caught off guard by Victoria's skill and strength. The pain etched across his face only fueled her determination further.
Unbeknownst to Victoria, her actions had not gone unnoticed.
Alex had been silently watching the entire escapade.
"Why did you stop me?" Asked Jason
He continued "You let her beat him up, let me go kill this woman. She is a hunter."
His voice rumbled with a deep commanding tone. Sending chills down everyone's spines. Each word dripped with cold determination.
"No one should touch her. If anyone touches her, I shall have that person beheaded. Go and rescue him but no one should lay hands upon her." Alex said coldly. He stands up from his chair and leaves to his car.
Victoria has killed Ryan or so she thought. She went to drink with her friends. She goes to her friends and mistakenly took Vivian's whiskey instead of her wine glass because she was thirsty. She drowned herself and had drinks with her friends. She stumbled out of the bar, her head was spinning from the effect of the alcohol. Her vision blurred, and she struggled to keep her balance.
With unsteady steps, she made her way to the street hoping to find a taxi to take her home.
Just as she was about to flag down a taxi, a sleek black sedan pulled up in front of her.
The windows rolled down, revealing a pair of mesmerizing eyes that seemed to glow in the dark. It was Alex. "Get in" he said with a tone that left no room for negotiation. His face was devoid of any emotions. Alex voice purred, laced with a mix of charm and intrigue. Victoria's heart skipped a beat as she looked into his piercing gaze, momentarily forgetting her intoxicated state.
With a flutter of excitement, she accepts his offer, slipping into the luxurious car.
As the car pulled away, Victoria could not ignore the electrifying chemistry that crackled between them.
As the car was moving, Alex then asks "What is your name?" "Victoria… that is my name." She answers drunkenly. She continued "I am twenty-five. I have no boyfriend. I am single ready to mingle."
Alex's eyes lit up as he asked "Do you know the meaning of mingling?" She shakes her head.
"It means you are ready to engage in intimate or sexual activities with someone. So do not say this to any guy." He said
"What is your name?" Victoria asked
"Alex" he answered
"Do you know what I want to become?" She asked. He shakes his head
"I want to be a normal human… a pirate, perhaps" she said. He then chuckled.
The driver peeked from the mirror and was surprised to see his boss smiling for once. Alex gave the driver a glare. He was dead scared. He returned his gaze back to the road and did not dare to look up again.
Alex asked himself " Did I just smile?" He nods his head.
Due to her tipsy state, her head fell on his shoulder. She leaned closer to him as she felt a sense of comfortable trust in his presence allowing herself to become vulnerable as she went unconscious.
