Chapter 23

Once every three blood moons, the ancient seal which keeps the axe of nite unusable to anyone but the bloodline, is erased for the time being. At that moment for the time the moon is red, anyone can wield the axe. It is indeed when ga-denians are most vulnerable.

With the tight security around the axe, normally this wouldn't be a problem, however with tensions happening within Japan both inside and outside the estate, the axe was sent to New Heiwa for safe keeping under the watchful eye of the clan's head of defence Lara ga-den where it sits now.

Two days later…

Dave; are you sure you want to go back this early? We still have a few months.

Jerry; sorry Dave, but we decided we need to get to training as soon as possible.

Tom; we need to be ready for anything the enemy's got.

Tom; and be strong enough to stand on our own.

Dave; alright then it's settled. You'll leave 1st thing in the morning.

A few minutes later…

Jake; did you guys do anything interesting?

Tom; who cares, since you were probably doing Nino for the past two days.

The next afternoon at the airport.

Dave to the boys; make sure to take care of yourselves! I'll meet you in one week.

The boys; See you later!

Then the boys boarded the plane

Sammy to Dave; let's hope older brother was right.

Meanwhile on the plane…

Jake; honestly, I can't wait for the next time I'll be in the estate.

Then a man in black stood up, and walked to a man sitting, while two other men walked to the front of the plane. Then the man who stood up brought out a gun and aimed it at the man sitting, while another man wearing black sat and began recording the event.

Ladies and gents, said the man with the gun, we are from the organization known as the midnight sun, and the man sitting down here is no other than Soma ga-den, one of high officials of the clan, today I will be taking his life and bringing down this plane along with us. This is a message to all of ga-den; we hereby declare war on you all. Gather as many people as you like, because in a few months ga-den will be no more.

Tom; should we do something?

Jerry; no, not yet. I don't know why, but something feels off about this guy. He isn't a weakling, if we go against him, I have a feeling we're gona lose.

Jake; seriously!

Then the man with the gun pulled the trigger killing Soma and there was wide spread panic throughout the plane.

Tom; guys, what do we do?

Jerry; I got an idea, Tom, grab that guy's gun.

Then Tom ran to the man and grabbed his gun trying to threaten him, but then he said, "look again at the weapon you're holding".

Tom; what the hell! This gun is completely messed up!

The man; ever heard of those metal less guns that have been going round, that gun was made from nothing more than plastic, how else was I supposed to sneak a gun on board?

Now then, boys, do the thing.

The two guys in the front; with pleasure.

Then one of the men in the front threw a bomb in the cockpit, and caused the plane to descend.

Jake; were going down! What do we do!

Jerry; *oh Shit! This isn't good, we got no options, but wait a second? I hope my future self can forgive me for this*. Jake! Use your strength to break a hole in the plane!

Then Jake, used his strength and destroyed the emergency door.

Jake; NOW WHAT!

Jerry; we jump.

Tom; WHAT!

Jerry; trust me I'll explain in the air but 1st.

Tom; but what about all the people on board.

Jerry; there's nothing we can do. I can't save all of them and besides, this won't work if we weigh too much! I'm going down!

Then Jerry grabbed his bag, removed something from it, and Jumped, then Jake followed as well. But just as tom was about to leave, he saw a little girl crying.

Tom; Screw this.

Then Tom grabbed the girl and jumped, he then saw Jerry and Jake holding on to a large sheet.

Jerry; Tom, grab on!

Then Tom grabbed on to the sheet.

Jake; there's still one more corner.

Tom; *I got an idea*. Hay little girl.

The girl; Jessie.

Tom; Hay Jessie, grab on to the sheet!

And Jessie did so, she then moved to the edge of the sheet then balanced it, allowing them to have a smooth fall.

Jerry; Ok, that was close. Also Tom what's with the girl?

Tom; I couldn't just let a girl die.

Jake; Jerry knew that would be the case, you always were a ladies' man.

Tom; I am, aren't I?

Jerry; anyway, get ready to dive.

Then the four of them went feet 1st into a river, where they swam to land, also Jessie couldn't swim so Tom cad to carry her.

Jerry; Well, I guess there's no helping it, we're going back to Heiwa on land.

Jake; alright, I'll see if I can get a cab then.

So then after the boys decided to take public transport back home (which took 3 days to complete) there were able to take Jessie home to her father, but not before breaking the bad news to him about his wife's death.

Jessie's dad who was in tears; it's alright, thank you so much for saving my daughter, I promise, I'll never forget your kindness.

Jessie; hay Tom, one day, I'll learn to use a sword just like you, and after that, I'll track you down and kick your ass.

Tom while smiling; maybe one day you will.

Jerry; looking forward to it, and also kick him in the nuts while you're at it.

Jessie; I will, if he forgets to call me that is.

Anyway, so long you losers!

The boys; So long! *man was she a pain to deal with*

Then finally, the boys came home a few days before Dave arrived…

Jerry; FINALY, that took forever.

Jake; agreed.

Tom; longest three days of my life, anyway, I'm gona take a shower.

Jerry to Jake; You know what we have to do, right?

Jake; a war has just started, of course I know.

Jerry; we goda train.

Jake; and train we will.

Jerry; alright then let's get ready for anything.

Then the two boys grabbed each other's hand tight, like a really strong handshake, while their shirts came off.

Tom; did you guys forget about me?

Jerry and Jake; oh, yeah!

Meanwhile…

Sargent; madam, we've located the source of that broadcast, we then dispatched a small unit to the scene, however it seemed that none of the passengers had survived, except for the missing piece and his crew, but also the terrorists as well.

Lisa on the roof of the ball room; it seems we aren't working with normal humans here; they've probably been enhanced by some method. However, it doesn't change our objective, prepare every single unit and make sure there on standby, and I want this place on full lockdown for the time being. Those bastards think they can kill one of our own and declare war on us?! Guess what, we'll show them that they're full of shit and nothing more! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!!!!

Sargent; YES, MA'M.

Lara; I was talking to everyone hearing this message, I SAID, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!!!

Meanwhile Lisa was in her room sitting by the window reading a manga.

Maid; lady Lisa, your dinner will be ready soon!

Lisa; just send it up here.

Lisa; Jerry, it's been several weeks now since I've seen him, and I'm I might not see him again, I hope it doesn't come to that, but I shouldn't be worrying, you gave me strength and confidence, and for that I thank you.

Then Lisa took the manga she was holding and placed it in her drawer, it was a volume of Monster 8.
