Chapter 101: Henry and Beth
Jamie entered the medical room. Seeing him, Fred sneered.
"Congratulations on being a father of two pups."
Jamie widened his eyes. "Two?"
"Yes, a boy and a girl. The mother is still on the bed. You can't bring her today. Let her rest for a day or two here," Fred said.
"Thank you, Iota." Jamie offered his hand to shake hands, but Fred only smiled.
"It's my duty. Go check your mate."
Fred waited in his room as another patient came. Finally, Jamie entered the medical room (which was Fred's bedroom).
"Love, the Iota told me you gave birth to two pups. It's amazing!"
Selina smiled a little, still too weak to move. "You can bring the boy to John."
Jamie kissed Selina's forehead. "Thank you for giving me the pups. Are you sure you want to let John raise the boy, not the girl?"
Selina shook her head. "I'm sure."
"You can still change your mind, and I will tell John that it's our pup, not his."
