Nov 4, 2013: In which A2. takes no responsibility for his part in our misunderstanding. Said he, “Yes, I have taken many psychology classes. Sure you can explain that, but I am not a psychologist, nor do I aspire to be. What you said was hurtful. In my experience, you disassociate yourself from people who mean you harm. With what is going on in the world, it only takes the simplest of phrases to make someone go postal. He continued, “Speech is one of the most powerful things we have as a human race. I learned the hard way to recognize my speech was inappropriate, and I worked very hard to correct it. While speaking without a filter can be attractive to some; it is not attractive to most. You have no filter. Misconstrued or not, when you make comments such as this, a second thought should be considered. It is our past that allows us to be better than those who have caused us harm.”
