Betrayal

"How does it feel my friend?" A man chuckled in a deep voice. He was seated on a throne-like chair in a huge fancy room. In front of him, another man was kneeling with guards besides him, preventing him from taking action.

Even though the kneeling man was injured, it was clear that they were very wary of him. "What? Do you think I'll beg you because of this?" The kneeling man asked confidently despite the chilling pain.

"I thought you were smarter than this Kyle. I now have full power and you have nothing." It was true. Kyle was left alone and without anything. The seated man, Jason, had taken everything from him.

"I will take revenge!" Kyle said making Jason to laugh.

"With where you're going, I'll make sure you don't have time to think of me," Jason smirked. His honey brown eyes had a different meaning from him.

Angry, Kyle tried to stand up but a guard kicked his stomach. It was known that Kyle rarely experienced pain thus he hated it and it was a weakness. Then again, who in their right mind loves pain?

"Don't try anything stupid, remember where you are and your place." Jason's voice was really cold making the surrounding people shiver, except Kyle of course.

"Take him away!" Jason ordered and Kyle was dragged away.

Kyle felt himself fading into the darkness and soon enough, he was unconscious due to the heavy beatings.

Kyle flattered his delicate eyes open and was shocked when he saw nothing. All that was there was darkness. Had they turned him blind?

He tried raising his hands but there was something preventing him from doing so. It was like he was paralyzed.

Suddenly, a door opened and the bright light made him close his eyes tightly. When he opened them again, his beautiful sapphire orbs could finally see. He was in a small room, but not alone.

Surrounding him were other men, who seemed not to be able to move like him. They must've been drugged or something. They were laying on a metal stand uprightly.

Another strange thing was that they were all wearing shorts only. Kyle was confused, what was going on? He blinked as it was the only thing he could do as he could not move.

The door that was opened let in a woman,who came in, pushed a stand with a man out and closed the door leaving the taunting darkness once more.

Kyle breathed rapidly as a sense of fear creeped into his heart. What could Jason have possibly done?

He watched as all the men were taken out until he was the only one. He could hear some cheering everytime the door was opened but he couldn't tell what was going on.

Soon, the door opened again and he was taken out. The exposure to the bright light made him squint his eyes.

Once he blinked a few times he saw the the huge building he was in. There were people all around him from bottom to up, with the upper parts covered.

It was an auction hall. Wait, an auction hall?

The bright spotlight was on him. He was locked onto a stand half naked... He was going to be sold!

Feeling all those lustful gazes on him and hearing the auctioneer describe him as the best, he felt very uncomfortable.

Too bad he could not move, he would have immediately hidden his body that was currently on full display.

"The price starts at two million!" It was announced and Kyle frowned in his head. What a low price.

"Three million!" The price was immediately brought up by a million.

"Four million."

"Four hundred and ten million!"

"Four hundred and twenty million!"

The price had stopped going up.

"Five million!" With that, everyone was silent.

"Five million going once..." The auctioneer started.

"One billion." A soft calm voice reverberated. It was a shocker to everyone. Moreover, unlike the previous male voices it was a female.

One billion. These words echoed in Kyle's mind. Even if he could speak, he would have been speechless.

It was obvious the woman had won and Kyle was taken away.

He was taken to a new room which was not as dark as the previous one. Inwardly, Kyle was relieved that he was bought by a woman, it would be easier to escape.

A woman came into the room after few minutes. "Hello," she said with a smile.
