Most likely that prevention force was behind that dark place that worked as a prison for him and prevented him from waking up. That prevention force blocks all the spiritual energy fluctuation of his body and also because he uses the Origin spiritual energy, the prison that previously got created inside of his mind was much more powerful compared to any other prevention force that previously the elders noticed.
