“Sorry it’s such a mess! Let me go downstairs and help you with your stuff.” Staying over…who said they could?! Was he blanking on something? He emptied his hands into the closet.
“It’s just one bag, I got it,” Andy spoke up again. “The consultation with the doctor is at five and the specialists called that they want to meet at eight in the morning. Is that okay?”
Oh. He’d definitely blanked on something all right. Last month they decided to schedule a meeting with a few different experts to decide the next steps with Dale. They—he—would be expected to start making those decisions.
