Slayin' With a Strap

That's right, you ever think that. ''Damn, this situation would've been solved a lot better if the character simply decided to say fuck logic, and us a gun?" Well so did I when I died. Ares, one of the many gods of War thought my ideals were funny enough, and see the thing about God's? They'll do anything for a giggle, so meet our main man Dale, that's right. Dale, as he not only has a system that keeps things interesting, and brings a gun to worlds that, most likely shouldn't have them. Aditional information: -Not a System Slave -Not a Waifu Collector Simulator -There will be smut but not a lot. Just enough to grease the gears. -Any world Dale ends up at, will not be there for the story or for the world lore, so if you're for world-building or an in-depth look at your favorite stories, leave. This is about using a gun in any, and all situations that require, and don't require it. -It may get repetitive, but I am always looking out for comments on how to make my writing better, or more interesting. The first world is Danmachi (Is it wrong to pick up girls in a Dungeon?)

Progressing in the Dungeon

As they continued to travel deeper and deeper in the dungeon, fewer monsters were affected by his firearms, a well-placed shot could still stun them, which made it much safer for others, and due to Dale's speed and strength, he could go in and grab someone before they got hurt.

He was working at max capacity the whole time, something everyone was thankful for, but others still worried. They understood he would never 'Tire' but what about his mental state?

No one had to worry about that since after taking out the goliath, Dale had unlocked the best part of his system so far, a music player. He was straight Jammin the whole time, pretty much working like a beast while listening to Taylor swift.

With the new addition of music to his life, he was living on cloud nine.

Of course, this addition wasn't as 'good' practically as the new edition which made him able to craft elemental ammunition, but priorities said music was better as he had access to all music up to when he died and could unlock it by the year afterward as he spent points into it.

Elemental ammunition was also useful, but he lacked the ability to make any now, he carried all materials with him including tools needed to make more firearms in case he ever came across any materials he needed that would help him progress with a new firearm, but these new pieces of ammunition required a magical press, something he never considered needing.

He had looked for one in the safety of the 18th floor Rivira, but that's not something they would have just sitting around, he could've chose to wait a few days to get it, but he decided against i-.

Actually... They were still close enough to the surface.

Dale ran forward, coming alongside Finn and Riveria. ''Question you two.''

''What ya' need Dale?'' Finn turned to look at him, it was during a rest period so it was fine to talk a little while doing so.

''I may have a way to make elemental ammunition, freezing bullets, exploding bullets, fireball bullets, that sort of thing, but I need a magic press. Since I know the route we're taking, would you be upset if I were to take a quick run to the surface?''

Finn bit his lip, thinking it over slowly before he nodded. ''We still have supplies for a few days without you, so your leaving won't be much. At max speed you can reach there in 8 hours, then another 8 back, which give you about an hour to find what you need. so 17 ish hours at full speed?''

Dale gave a nod before Riveria spoke. ''Go see the mages, there should be one able to cast agility boost, makes you faster. For someone like you, it should make you much faster as it lasts until the person it's cast on is tir-.''

Suddenly, Riveria's eyes widened as she stared at Dale.

Finn raised a brow before it suddenly clicked, smacking his forehead. ''How could we have overlooked something so beneficial?"

Finn suddenly stepped forward, raising his voice.

''All mages with support base magic that lasts until the person it's cast on gets tired come here!''

Suddenly, a few people stepped forward, and after making sure they had the mana to spare, cast it onto Dale.

Dale stood there shivering, his hands flexing as he tried to get the sudden boost in power under control.

''How do you feel Dale?'' It was Riveria who asked, her keen eyes paying attention closely.

''Honestly? Great, all these magics are considered a double in overall ability right, not just stats?''

''There are some magic like that, but we don't have anyone here who can do that.''

Dale gave a nod before he crouched down, stretching a bit before he got into a running position. ''Then that means I went from a pseudo level 3, to a pseudo level 6? Neat.''

Then he was fucking gone, his speed surpassing even the fastest one amongst them.

As he flew by, Bete kicked the ground. ''Damnit! I wish it was that easy for me.''

Finn, scratching at his chin spoke up. ''I think we may have just created something like a monster... Because doesn't this mean technically, each level up is considered two? Not to mention, since he is able to maximize his stats above the normal, and leveling up creates a net gross the larger your stats are... You think in the next level up he'll go from a 'Psuedo level 6' to a real level 8?''

Riveria's eyes widened a bit before she looked down. ''We just created a Monster.''

Gareth released a low chuckle as he shook his head. ''Yes, because being able to kill the goliath in under a minute wasn't already pretty scary?''

-------------------------------------------------------

Man, Dale thought running at full speed as a pseudo level 3 was fun, but a psuedo level 6 was a whole new level of a blast. Because now he was able to pull off dumb stunts, like being able to wall run, or even be able to focus his attention at such an acute level time seemed to slow down around him, it was also when this happened that he unlocked a new ability, directly from the system.

[CQC Enhancment]

You have risen to such a level of strength you are able to slow down time by increasing the speed of your perception, you learn all martial arts easier and have advantages while fighting close to your opponents, even if not using melee weapons.

[Bullet Time]

You have gained such a strong perception that you are able to activate 'Bullet Time' during this mode all feats of agility are boosted such as sliding, jumping, and sprinting. Time is slowed down by 0.1. The better the mastery over this skill, the larger this time is increased. Higher proficiency allows faster movement during bullet time as well.

With these two things alone he has become much stronger and the fact he just got a double to practically everything he does, he was flying through the dungeon.

He continued to activate bullet time through the entirety of his run as well, using the time he had to level it up, even with all this, he arrived at the tower of babel, directly into Hephaestus level in a little over 4 hours.

Tsubaki looked up at the sudden barge in, Dale only slowing down enough to let her know it was in fact him, and to grab one of the magic presses, saying that he would pay Hephaestus once he got back, only to have the press disappear into his inventory, and began to fucking hall ass back.
