Chapter twelve

So I danced with him and he was so bad that my poor feet couldn't deal, then a man came bursting in the room.

"Long live the Akimi Clan!" The man shouted.

"Excuse me, sir, this is a party and I believe you were not invited so I afraid to ask you to leave," I Said rather polite than normal.

"Eh? What's a puny servant gonna do?" The man asked.

"I'm asking quietly nicely if you would please, leave the mansion. You were not invited and if you do not leave on your own I will make you leave." I spoke as my eyes glowed for a moment.

"You're a monster! A monster!" The man shouted.

I walked up to him closer and flicked his forehead as he fell back in the ground in pain then came up and punched me in the face, I grabbed his arm and dragged him outside and threw him all the way to the slums. I turned around to return back to the mansion inside and spoke: "I apologize for the man I have dealt with him, please continue what you were doing."

"Ami? Your face it's hurt come with me." He replied.

"No need, it's healed already," I replied.

"Huh? How?" He asked quietly confused.

"Don't worry about that I believe it's the gift-giving portion, so if you please excuse me," I Said.

I walked away to the living room and waited till it was shouted. It took hours upon hours and I was quietly bored but wasn't allowed to say anything.

"Cielo? I want you to open this one." She Said, "After all it's your birthday two."

"No need, I'm all set. And anyway my birthday is not today it's tomorrow you see." I replied.

"Take this anyway, I can't give it to you tomorrow. I have to leave for the palace for swearing in my marriage with him." She replied.

"As you wish," I replied.

"Actually, you see. Miss..as much I'd like to marry you I have decided that I don't want to marry you anymore." Yuki replied, "I'd like to have your servant to work for the place."

"As you wish, Your Highness," I replied.

Man, this makes my life so easier, don't gotta do as much work. And this time I can have a proper skit universe thing.

"Servants grab all the items in the servant's room and then will leave." He commanded.

"Yes, Your highness!" They shouted.

"Come with me, I wanna know something." He Said(Yuki)

I followed him and he spoke, "So, do you have any back round in the underworld?"

"Yeah, my...uh dad. But he's dead have been for about 16 years." I replied.

"Mom?" He asked.

"She ditched us for a Russian guy then ended getting killed by Chinese triad members," I replied.

"Oh? Well then, we should get going." He replied.

"You care about me? Weird? He hasn't even known me for that long in this world." I muttered under my breath.

Little did Cielo know he's met Yuki a long time ago when they were children, young children.

We were in a carriage as I waited to arrive, I could see from the outside it was gorgeous and I was amazed, prettier than the other place.

"You looked amazed, is this your first time?" He asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

He had a smile on his face but then went away, men there so confusing to understand.

"You know, I gotta wonder? How did you end up there anyway?" He asked.

"Sold. By my uncle." I replied, "He wasn't my grandmother's legal child, you see when she was younger per se 30, she encountered a man who forced her to...have the stork delivers a baby."

"Really? Is he still alive?" He asked.

"Yes, very much so, he's noble of high honor." I replied, "If he knows I'm alive, I don't think everything would go well."

"Well Anyways lets go inside, it's quite easy you just have to serve me, with all my needs." He replied.

"Yes, as you wish," I replied.

A young lady came running in and tried to jump on him.

"Yuki!" She shouted.

"Elizabeth, it's quite good to see you again." He replied.

"I told you to call me Lizzy, and we're cousins don't be so formal," Lizzy spoke.

"Greetings to Lady Elizabeth," I replied.

"Fancy, the clothing looks foreign. Where do you come from?" She asked.

"Japan, my lady," I replied.

"Japan? That sounds fair." She replied.

"I can make you some snacks if you'd like?" I asked.

"Yes, very much." She replied.

[Lady Elizabeth likes you, she will now defend you if you are accused of something, worth treason. Defense points-50, positive]

"Well I must be off there are plenty of things to attend to, so if you will excuse me." I replied "Oh and uh Lady Elizabeth, the wind is getting stronger, I suggest you make sure your skirt doesn't fly up. You know those boys, weird aren't they."

Elizabeth blushed but Cielo didn't notice or rather he didn't care about it, he just said it cause he didn't want a trail of blood and a knocked kid on the floor. In all honesty, he hates cleaning up, he's rather quiet lazy.

"Cielo? Or should I call you Ami?" He asked.

"Ami, Cielo sounds not right coming out of your mouth." I replied "And besides aren't I just your caretaker, nothing more nothing less. Now if you Excuse it's about time I got get some food."

"Food? There's a ton in the kitchen." He replied.

I walk closer to him and muttered "I not talking about that kind of food, it's special only one place in town serves it. So yeah, I get going so you later."

"Wait I wanna go with." He replied.

"Hmm? I don't know they might not want you around considering that your..You after all." I replied.

"Please, with a cherry on top." He Said.

"Fine, just...here take this it'll help you," I replied.

He sipped the drink and fell asleep.

"His highness fell asleep due to a tried day, please take him to his room," I replied.

"Yes." They replied.

They scurried away as I went to town for the only saloon in town was running vampire needs, it's the owner is Ren, I know right unbelievable right.

"Hey Ren, give me the usual would yeah. Make it quick I only got ten minutes or maybe five at most." I replied.

"Kay, here's whatcha need, be careful there some young ones in town and they ain't all that friendly. They're probably starving cause they don't know there's my saloon or they will find out and I'll have a rush." He replied.

Then the next thing you know a group of vampires came into the saloon.

"Hey man, give us some." One said.

"Sure would you like A or O?" He asked.

"A, for me and him, B for the idiot at the end, and O for the big guy." The tall guy said.

"Coming right up." He replied.

"You must be new in town, the names Cielo," I replied.

"Your short for a vampire aren't you." One said.

"You can't see but um, I'm taller than you." I replied, "And quiet older than you, per se centuries."

I noticed the drink.

"Thanks, Ren. Call me if you need anything I gotta go." I replied.

"Hold it, You're a vampire and you can walk around in the day. How's that possible?" The other said.

"Hmm, well there's a thing that happens when your per se..20, you go through a coming of age ceremony and you get a ring that allows you to stay outside in the sun without getting burned. But this place doesn't have any witches for the ring to activate so...there goes that idea." I replied.

"Oh? Witches you say? Hahahahahaha! How about we just take your ring instead." The big guy spoke.

"Screw You," I replied.

I walked up to him and grabbed his heart then dropped it to the ground and did it to the others as they all died.

"Here that should be enough as payment," I replied.

"Plenty, see yeah." He replied.

I left and walked back to the palace to see Yuki awake and worried.

"Your highness," I spoke.

"Ami! I've been looking everywhere for you. That juice you gave me it made me sleep, that's not the point. Where have you been?" He asked.

"Eh? I was in the saloon town." I replied.

"Saloon? We have a saloon." He Said.

"Yeah, I'm friends with the bartender," I replied.

"How is he?" He asked.

"Younger than me by...a couple of months," I replied.

Can't exactly tell him that there are vamps in this place he'd go mad.

He looked at my clothes and noticed my hands as well.

"Your clothes? Your hands? What in the world?" He asked.

"Well some people ain't all that nice, and the bartender couldn't do anything cause he took an oath so I had to do him a favor, so yeah." I replied "Not a big deal."

"You know what clean your self up, I have a meeting, my parents have arranged for me to marry some other girl and I have to bring you along." He replied

"Hmm? My clothes are changed." I replied.

"Never mind then follow me." He Said.

"As you wish," I replied.

I followed him down one of the many halls into a room it was big and had couch's as a young lady with blond hair and bright blue eyes was in the room.

"Yuki! I'm so glad to marry you." She replied.

"Saki, it's good to see you." He replied.

"Who's this?" Saki asked.

"Hello, my name is Cielo. I'm the prince's personal caretaker or rather attendant whatever suits your fancy." I introduced my self.

"Your ring it's quite pretty," Saki commented.

"Well, this ring was given on my 5th birthday. It's not all that important." I replied.

"Can I have a look?" Saki asked.

"Suppose I can for a few seconds." I replied.

I handed over the ring so she could look then she was handing it to me then looked at me while I was putting the ring back on.

"Now that I look at you, you look so pale. How could you be healthy with such pale skin." Saki Said.

"Oh it kind normal where I come from, it's a natural thing since we're a closed community per day." I replied "So there's nothing to worry about."

"Hmm? I believe you but...you've been limping since you got back." He whispered in my ear "Please don't strain your self."

"Call a doctor." He said.

A doctor was called and he looked at me and said "His leg has a wound that was healed without a doctors help, but there's also the fact that his pulse is so slow. I will prescribe so medicine but I do advise you watch him. Also he has what seems to be a fever, how he standing I don't suppose I know."

"Thank you doctor." He replied.

"I'm really fine, the leg I healed with herbs found in the forest. My pulse had always been like that to begin with. And I can't handle the heat that all." I muttered.

"Ami, you should do what the doctor says." He replied.

"It's not a big deal I'm fine now." I replied.

"Well that's not excuse if my attendant gets sick and bedridden that would be quiet bad, so I will have to put you on bed rest till the doctor says it's alright and that means no saloon, just food in the castle." He replied "that also means you have to take off the ring."

He took the ring off and I felt all the heat get to me.

"Please don't do that." I spoke weakly "The ring has herbs in it to make me feel less heat then needed."

He put the ring on and said "alright, try to get some rest."

He left the room as Saki stood there and glared at me with her bright blue eyes.

"Honestly, how could you be so weak without that ring on? It's almost as if your a vampire." Saki Said "But's that not possible, they were wipes out last night by a bounty hunter."

"Lady Saki, I've always been weak it's just I have a lot of endurance even for my weak body." I explained.

"Endurance? Please, when hell freezes." Saki replied.

[Lady Saki does not trust you and thinks you'll stand in her way to get Yuki, she will try anything to make you dead. Danger level..2]

"I'm back, please drink this, I know it's bitter but you have to drink it." He replied.

"It smells bad, like sweaty socks." I replied "I'll live without that smelly concation."

"But you won't live, you'll only worsen." He replied.

"I'm fine, for goddess sakes. But if it makes you worry less then I'll the sorry excuse for medicine." I replied.

I drank it and it tasted horrible. Man this could kill a normal person if I wasn't a Immortal being.

"Nasty, never wanna drink that again. Yuck I'd rather die then drink that again." I replied "So foul, man I could eat beetles then this stuff."

"Sorry, I'll ask the doctor to make it less bitter, and nasty for yeah." He replied "Well at least your heat went down. That's good news."

"You really don't need to care, I'm quiet fine really." I replied "Rather, I do have a question though. Can I go to the saloon? there's something I left there and I forgot to grab it."

"Hmm? No." He replied.

"It'll He Fine, I'll be fine." I replied "Everybody knows me, they wouldn't dare do something stupid after yesterday."

"Hmm? I wasn't aware that you were so mighty, how is that exactly?" He asked.

"Eh? I been living here for a couple of years. I guess you could say not many people are dumb like they used to be." I replied "Plus I've always been a lot scarier then people imagine, you could say."

"Hmm?" He hummed.

"What? Can I go now?" I asked.

"Fine" He Said.

I left and saw Ren and said "Hey can you give that thing you were going to give."

"Sure, here it is. You know people are following you, man I didn't think he was this overprotective of you. I mean you guys just met again after what happened last time." He replied.

"Eh? Hasn't it always been like this? I mean come on." I replied "You know thanks for it, I should probably give him this."

"Hmm, I surprised that you wanted me to give this to you." He replied.

"Eh? It's been over five years. I got over it, anyways I gotta go so see yeah later." I replied.

I left and went back and saw Yuki standing at the door waiting for me while Saki was beside him.

"I didn't think you'd wait for me." I replied.

"Of course I care about you." He Said.

Great using me to show that you don't give anything about her, what a great strategy except that I'm now the target.

"No need for that." I replied.

Beast! Can't use me like that! Who do you think I am? A bunny dead wrong you savage!

I smiled and he looked back at me and patted my head lightly.

"Your hairs really soft, like a girls." He Said.

"Hmm, not like I wanted my hair like this. My mother always said 'if you keep your hair all nice and soft you can get all the boys you want, girls are mean and back stabbers. Your father never listened to me till he realized he loved me.' Man I thought she was talking crazy again." I replied.

"That's the first time you've brought up your parents." He Said.

"Anyways, I should get going, there's probably tons of work to do and I don't wanna slack of the first day and get scolded." I replied.

"Ami, stay." He replied "Your not going anywhere but upstairs remember, bed rest."

"Oh, right whoops I almost forgot Well then I should..You know go before." I replied.

"Wait." He replied.

He put his hand on my forehead and whispered "Your heads all warm, you sure your fine?"

Before Cielo could reply, he passed out and it was due to some unknown reason. But suddenly the king and queen arrived at that exact moment.

"Yuki, is the boy you were talking about? What has happened?" The queen asked.

"Well, I don't exactly know but it looks like his ring gone." He replied.

"Ring?" She asked.

"Well Ami told me that at a young age he came down with some sort of illness that activates when he exposed to the sun, so as a way to prevent this was his ring that holds herbs that suppress this but it's gone now." He explained "We don't have a doctor who can make a new one, so I don't know how long he has?"

"Poor child, well we must search for the ring." She replied "Guards search for a ring described by the prince, in the mean time. Call the royal doctor."

"Yes, My Queen." They replied.

"Your highness." I muttered.

"Ami? Wait don't talk we'll find you ring." He Said.

"5 hours." I spoke softly.

He patted my head as my voice was quiet weak.

"Five hours? Well then Guards chop chop." She Said.

"Yes, my queen." They replied.

"Let's get him to be some where away from the sun. Also Yuki try to care for him." She Said "Guards, if this boy dies today then all of your heads are on the block."

"Please don't it's not there fault, I must have dropped it when I came in. Maybe somebody picked it up." I spoke.

"Ami, shush. Try to rest a little." He replied.

"You should know that the ring burn anyone hands that aren't mine..." I spoke softly.

"My Queen we have found the ring and also there's something else." A guard spoke.

"Yes." She replied.

"The servants claim that when the butler was in town, a Lady Saki had ordered a thief grab the ring and keep hidden till this moment and get favor of you." The guard whispered.

"I see, well let's get him better first the figure out what to do with her." She replied "here's the ring, I hope you'll get better."

"Thank you, My queen." I replied.

"My Queen, the lady Saki greet's you." Saki spoke.

"Lady Saki, why have you come? Do you not know what's going on or the fact I told Guards not to allow any other visitors?" She questioned.

"I didn't my lady." Saki replied.

"Here drink this Ami." He Said.

"I'm fine, Your highness besides the doctors medicine always taste odd." I replied.

"Hmm? I sure it'll taste better I asked the doctor to make it less odd, as you put it." He Said "stop addressing me as Your highness give me a nickname."

"Yu-Yu." I Said.
