"Right this way. Bring the traitorous soldier inside with you. The leader needs to see that the soldier was actually apprehended before he'll trust you." The unnamed werewolves responded to Aaron's sudden command, pointing him towards a random house made of thatch, sticks and stones. It was crudely made, but it was large enough to house a family of two. Not really a family, but it was close enough of a comparison.
Aaron walked inside, making sure that he didn't hit off of the walls for fear of knocking them down. Inside the house was a single chair, and in the chair was the leader. The leader gave off an aura much more condensed than the other Werewolves, but Aaron felt something was off.
The leader was nothing but a child.
Aaron couldn't help but slightly chuckle at the sight of the leader. A boy of around eight or even nine years old, controlling a village of Werewolves. However, once he was finished his laughing session, he felt a metal blade touch his neck. He looked towards it, scanning up along the sword, identifying a strange coat, a new sword, and white hair.
"You. I thought that you were human." Aaron said, realising who it was. "In the mercenary business, you work for who you've been paid by or who saved your life. This is the latter." The man responded, taking the blade away from Aaron's neck. This was the same white-haired man that had stabbed Aaron. He was the swordsman defeated by Seph and None's first-ever use of a union attack.
"Well then, how did they save you? After all, I do believe I wasn't conscious at that time. You stabbed me in the chest, and then I woke up and had a little altercation with myself, but soon sorted that out." Aaron asked, his hand turning from flesh into scales as if he was going to claw at the white-haired swordsman. "Your friend, the Hero, and his little monster pal decided to critically injure me, cutting me in multiple places. After I got away, I safely got into the forest a good few hours away and collapsed. That's when the Werewolves found me, patched me up, and helped me regain the strength in my body. They saved my life, and I told the leader that I'd protect him with my life a single time." The white-haired swordsman explained, his sword slightly tilted towards Aaron.
"Ronin, back down from the monster." The child told the white-haired swordsman, who simply stood back, his newly-made sword disappearing into its sheath. "So, you're the ones who made all the noise earlier, huh?" The child asked before letting out a little giggle of his own. "Honestly, how could a group of people like you take down a Werewolf? That Werewolf must have been the weakest one in the bunch!" The child announced.
"Ah, so we aren't allowed to underestimate you, but you can underestimate us? I'm absolutely certain that even I can destroy this entire village in a single attack." Sciat responded to the child, closing his eyes and letting out a little chuckle. However, when he opened his eyes, the child was in his face, his fist almost contacting his head as a killer red aura surrounded the hand. "Shut up." The child commanded, punching Sciat in the face, displacing the air around them as if it was nothing.
Sciat was sent out of the building, surprisingly not hitting the walls on his way out, landing fifty metres away. Aaron just looked at the child in shock. 'Huh. It really just did that? Impressive. It actually knocked a Boundless person away.' Aaron thought to himself.
Crystet used Supreme TimeStop, freezing everything around him in time, except for Aaron. Crystet had never looked too closely at his movements when he compared them to Aaron, but if he looked closely, Crystet could see a very slight flicker in Aaron's walking. This meant only one thing. Aaron had to continuously teleport to keep himself moving.
Crystet appeared to be moving as he usually did, as this was his own stopped time, but doing this, Crystet had finally realised what kept Aaron moving. Of course, there wasn't much that Crystet could do to stop him, but it was nice to finally know what kept Aaron moving. After realising this, Crystet only had ten seconds left, so he panicked.
Crystet grabbed Seph's broadsword and None's "acquired" katana from their respective bodies and threw them at the child, just doing a little test. However, Crystet had angled the blades so that they'd go above the child's shoulders if he did not jump. Crystet's time stopped, and the weapons flew past the child at lightning-fast speeds.
However, the child lifted his hands into the air. He grabbed the handle of the swords as they travelled by his head. The blades appeared in his hands, the child having caught them in mid-air. Crystet just looked at the child in shock before smiling. "So, this kid knows more than a few tricks. Fine then. Wishgranter!" Crystet yelled, his hand glowing brightly. Aaron watched as translucent stars began surrounding Crystet's fist.
Aaron said nothing as Crystet threw a singular punch at the child, who caught it in his palm. Crystet smiled, the child's hand expanding outwards, pending an explosion, but then, something strange happened. The child's arm quickly went back to its original size as he absorbed the power that had been placed into his skin.
The child then released a wave of energy towards Crystet, slamming into his skin. Crystet didn't move, but a small amount of blood dripped from his mouth. The wave of energy wasn't trying to injure his flesh, but it damaged his inner organs. "Wow. That was a smart move on your end, child." Aaron said, clapping his hand, turning it back to normal. However, he was prepared. The child threw a punch at Aaron, and Aaron teleported behind him and threw an attack of his own, hitting the child on the back of the head.
"There. Now, are you willing to actually talk with us, or will I have to let Ronin save your life?"
