The faceless monster rushed towards Soul, hands outstretched. She was going to try and kill Soul, even if she got hurt in the process. After all, a monster rarely cares about its own safety.
Soul just smiled, watching the Boundless Blood Warden rush towards him. Soul waited until the last second, seeing if it'd use any skills to attack him. However, when nothing happened, he sidestepped to the left. He did this while swinging his leg just out of reach. The Blood Warden quickly turned around, trying to land a hit on Soul, but Soul had expected it. He dealt a damaging blow in the form of a kick to the face. The attack let out the sound of a whip lashing against the monster's head, sending the monster flying into the nearby wall, leaving a crater.
"You are no longer a person or even an intelligent Inhuman. All you are is driven by the scent of blood and your own memories. I'm guessing with this theory, but let me tell you what I think, even though I know that you won't understand. You mean nothing in the grand scheme of things if you act like this. Your citizens and underlings are worried for you, and if you can't help them, who will, huh?" Soul told the monster, who was standing up from the crater impact. "If you can't save yourself, how would you be able to protect the ones who care for your safety, eh?"
The monster stood still for a minute before a whisper escaped the monster's non-existent lips. "I..." The Boundless Blood Warden mumbled as Soul turned to his side, cupping his hand to his ear. "What? You need to speak louder cause I can't hear you." Soul informed the monster. The monster rushed up to him, shoving a hand through his spine. "I can't save them!" The Blood Warden yelled, flinging Soul's body to the side, licking the blood off of its arm. Or, at least what it thought was blood. When it tasted the "blood" on its arm, it spat it out in disgust.
A black and pink substance was spat out as Soul stood up, his suit missing and his entire body covered in black Corruption. "I can see that you don't want to talk this out peacefully. I can understand your anger, but I won't let it consume you as it did me. I may be a bad person, but that doesn't mean I'll let you do as you please." Soul told the monster, disappearing from vision. The entire room became pitch black, but that didn't affect the monster. What it was affected by was the sudden disappearance of hearing. It couldn't hear, smell, or see anything now.
After a second, it could hear again. However, it was something it never wanted to listen to. The sound of children laughing, playing, and screaming rang throughout its ears. This wasn't the worst part, though. One by one, the children let out screams of fear as the sound of blood splattering rang throughout their ears. They could handle the killing of adults, but children? No, that was too much for the monster.
Inside the creature's mind, the sights and smells of what was happened opened up. The monster was able to see and smell things again! It put its hands to its face, realising that they were back to normal. The leader of the Beastpeople looked around, seeing the destruction. However, when she finally found who was causing it, she couldn't help but gasp at the realisation. It was her. A faceless version of her. A black, clawed hand was placed on her shoulder as she turned to see some strange monster with pink eyes and a pink mouth. "This is what you would do if you were to get out of your bunker. You'd go on a killing spree, and you'd enjoy it. You wouldn't even know that you were the cause by the end of it. Wouldn't that just be heartbreaking?" The black creature said to her, causing her to jump back.
"Who...who are you?!" She asked in confusion, taking her eyes off of the destruction going on beside them. "I am the one who created this illusion for you. The one who was sent in by the beastpeople to save you. Call me Soul. I'm going to need you to tell me how you became Boundless because it's becoming way too damn common for me." Soul informed the leader, who looked at him confusedly. "Boundless? What do you mean?" The woman asked as Soul scanned her again.
{Amana North}
{Boundless Percentage: 1%}
"Amana North...Boundless Percentage: 1%. Yup, you're Boundless. How in the hell did you achieve that?" Soul pondered as a light shone inside of Amana's eyes. "Oh, could it have been that strange ball that fell from the sky?" She asked herself out loud, drawing Soul's attention. "Oh, for god's sake, if it was what I think it was, that would definitely explain it. However, who the hell would let such a rare artefact drop to this planet, of all places? Unless it was intentional, which would also make sense." Soul began talking to himself. Maybe this was all some kind of plan to kill him? Hardly, considering he had defeated someone with eighty percent Boundlessness, even though he had only been able to do so through a skill he had gotten from absorbing a Basilisk.
"It was shiny, and you could kind of see through it. I don't know how to describe it, but it was kind of like it was a tear from a god. A spherical tear would be hard to create." Amana imagined as Soul realised what she was talking about. Someone had dropped a Purified Demononoid God Soul down to this planet, specifically to a place where Soul or Aaron planned to go. "Oh, for the love of god. Yes, that is what I think it was, and you need to learn how to control your mana." Soul informed the woman before putting both of his hands on her shoulders.
"I will teach you how to control your new mana level. If you don't, you won't be able to help your citizens, ok? First, however, we need to fight that Blood Warden."
