37. From Hell

As she slowly slipped into unconsciousness, all she could think of was her mother. She hoped this was a dream. She didn't want her mother to suffer if something happens to her.

Her brows furrowed after God knows when, her eyes still closed. The air around her felt different. It smelled different. She could smell smoke from cigar and alcohol. Then reality hit her hard.

She had been kidnapped.

Fear crept into her. Her head ached. In fact, her whole body ached, and even with her eyes closed, she could feel the cold hard floor under her spinning.

She slowly fluttered her eyes open and met darkness. Total, thick and palpable darkness. Wait! Did she go blind?

She panicked. No! What was happening to her?

She closed her eyes and opened them again. Still, she couldn't see a thing.

"No! No! Somebody help!!" She cried. "Somebody help! I can't see anything! Is somebody there?!!"I

There was silence.
