20. Here comes the gay husband

Pacing up and down as if determined to wear out a thin trail in the tile floor, Daisy stared down at her own feet allowing the shock of seeing two naķed men banging drain from her body..., once again she hijacked the can of water she had taken from the fridge earlier and gulp down a bit of it before her eyes flick over to Lily and Tony's wedding pictures on the wall.., she bit on her lips as cold sweat glistened on her furrowed brows....

"Fùcking faggòt" She mutter to herself before taking her phone from the chair to call Janet...

She took another gulp down of the water as she wait for Janet to pick up the phone...

"Hey..."Janet voice rumbled low..

"You won't believe what happened..."Daisy said dropping the water on the table and allow her legs to pace slowly

"What happened..?"Janet asked

"Tony is gay..."

"What..!"Janet blare out from the other end..."He's gay..?"

"Yeah.., we caught him in a hotel room banging another man..."

"What do you mean we...?"Janet asked, the tone of her voice showing her interest in the discussion

"Lily and i.."

"Lily knows...?"

"Yeah.."

"Oh my God, how did she react...?"

"How else do you want her to react, we were shocked, we thought we'll see a woman but we saw a man instead.., Lily just dashed out of the hotel..."

"Then where is she now...?"

"In her room, packing her things...."

"She's packing.., is she leaving him..?"

Daisy rolled her eyes at the silly question..."Is that supposed to be a question, Tony hasn't been sleeping with her for months, and now she finds out he's gay..."

"Oh God.., where is she moving to...?"

Daisy sigh..."That's why i called, i think she's going to a hotel but i decided she stays with you for now..."

There was silence before Janet's voice came up again...."You know i stay in a one room apartment..."

"I know, she needs a friend at this moment Janet, let her just crashed at your place tonight.., she would have come to mine but you know Matthew is there and they got off on the wrong foot the last time Lily visited..."

"Are you home..?"

Daisy exhale knowing what Janet will say next...."Yeah i did.."

She shift her gaze to the door when it opened, resentment swept across her face when she saw Tony...

"Here comes the gay husband..."Daisy sneer on the phone...."I'll call you back babe.."

"Where is my wife...?"Tony asked ignoring her statement...

All the reasons not to answer his question came flooding Daisy's head...."How could you do this to her...?"She asked instead

Tony look daggers at her before walking towards the room leaving her question in the mud...

Furiously, Lily threw the rest of the stuffs she needs in the bag before forcefully zipping it ignoring the fact that someone just walked into the room...

"Are you leaving...?"Tony dared to asked

Her cold fury burnt with dangerous intensity as his question hit her.., she ignored him and continue zipping the bag...

She hissed and turn to face the wardrobe again...

"Can you talk to me...?"

She turned her furious gaze at him with the alertness of the question...."Talk to you..."Her words spat out with ferocity and rapidity of a machine gun fire.....

"Explain what.."She snarled..."That you're a fàg or that you were screwing another man in a hotel room..."

Her face mottling in crimson, she furiously pushes him aside and scurried off to the parlour with her bag, in that moment, Tony realise he was totally..totally, totally screwed

"Lily please listen to me.."He said running after her...

When she stopped to face him, she spat on his face...."Do not call me..."

Daisy felt the need to vomit as Tony wipe the spit from his face....

She glare at him, her face simmered and fizzle like a hot firewood, she exploded with an unrestrained fury by slapping him hard right across his face....

Daisy curl her lips..."You should have thought about that when you decided to bang another man..."

Daisy snub his words and went after Lily....

A heavy silence settled over them, thicker then the uneasy tension in the atmosphere, Janet Unsettled eyes flickered unceremoniously from Daisy to Lily before breaking the silence...

"Men are dick..."She scowled..."Am really sorry Lily..."

Lily sniffle and more tears rain down her cheek..

"You have to stop crying..."Daisy said..."That gay man isn't worth it..."

"He slept with a man.."Lily said in an onslaught of tears....

"What happened to 14years imprisonment....?"Janet chimes in, her face frowning in revulsion...

There was silence, then his voice sounded again...
