Bloody Bed

In the observation area of the white room, Sora looked down at Daichi struggling on the ground, trying to stand up as Usagi watched with concern on his face. Sora angrily yelled at Usagi, "Kill him now, you idiot!"

Usagi looked up at the observation area, seeing Sora yelling for him to kill Daichi. He thought to himself, this was not right. I can't kill him, it feels wrong to do so.

Sora kept yelling and it got Keito to slap his leg in irritation, telling Sora to stop because the yelling was hurting his ears. Sora angrily grabbed Keito's collar, almost fully picking him up as he said, "Are you not his uncle? Why are you not telling him to finish this fight? You know what Daichi can do—if he sees even the slightest chance, he'll kill the kid.

Keito said with a smile, "I have faith in Usagi. He'll make the right choice."

Sora yelled back, "The right choice? What choice can he make if he's dead?"

Keito calmly replied, "I hold full trust in him. I won't tell him what to do and neither should you. Now sit down."

Sora looked around angrily at all the police officers and former Enforcers watching him with worry, seemingly scared of his temper. Sora clicked his tongue in frustration and sat back down next to Miyu, who had not said a word this whole time.

Sora crossed his arms, his gaze fixed on the scene below. He couldn't grasp Keito's trust in the boy, but more puzzling to him was his own actions—why was he aiding the boy? This felt entirely out of character; helping him meant potentially missing out on battling Daichi. Sora stared at his hands, trembling, as he murmured to himself, "What the hell was I thinking? Am I changing...? This can't be happening."

Sora remembered his own childhood, the countless times adults had made him battle black bears in the forest while they bet on his survival. He thought to himself, "This feeling in my chest... it's strange."

Sora watched as Usagi slowly walked over to where Daichi lay prone. The child's steps were uncertain, shoulders hunched with the weight of this decision. Sora felt his breath catch. What would the boy choose?

Daichi wiped the sweat from his brow as the oppressive humidity enveloped him. Removing his coat and shirt, he was left bare-chested, the sweltering air clinging to his skin.

"This humidity is insane. It feels like I'm in the desert," he muttered.

Looking up, he saw Usagi standing before him, glaring down with an intensity beyond his years. "Do you give up?" the young boy challenged.

Slamming his fist against the floor in frustration, Daichi opened his mouth to respond, but his words died on his tongue. A shadowy aura suddenly engulfed the stark white room, plunging everything into darkness.

The officers and former Enforcers cried out in dismay. Sora and Keito exchanged alarmed glances. "This must be Kurosawa Misuki...he has awakened," Keito said gravely.

Usagi's eyes darted around in confusion and fear. "Why did the room turn dark? What's going on?"

A slow, wicked grin spread across Daichi's face. Rolling onto his back, he burst into laughter.

"What's so funny?" Usagi yelled. "Is this your doing? Tell me!"

Unable to contain himself, Daichi covered his eyes with one hand, convulsing with twisted mirth. "Chairman Kurosawa...my father has finally awakened," he choked out between laughs. "I was just wasting time until the merger was complete. I had no intention of giving up, even if I lost."

Anger flared in Usagi's eyes. He grabbed Daichi by the throat. "You tricked me, you bastard!"

Smirking through the boy's grip, Daichi said, "Look behind you."

Suddenly, Usagi cried out in pain as an unseen force slammed into his back, splattering blood across the floor.

"Usagi!" Keito yelled from the observation deck above.

Shattering the glass, Sora leaped down, the officers and former Enforcers on his heels. They rushed to attack Daichi and the still hidden Kurosawa.

Rising to his feet, Daichi donned his shirt and coat once more, the stifling humidity dissipating. Adopting a battle stance, cruel excitement lit his features.

"This will not end well for any of you," he declared as the first blows were exchanged.

Kaze, Rin and Mei finally made it to Yamada's lab and when they opened the mechanical door, Mei was shocked to see that the tube on the right was opened. "The merger was complete, only Kurosawa old body remains," she said.

Kaze clicked his tongue in annoyance as he saw that he was too late. Rin started to look around and said, "Look there are footsteps, we should just follow them."

Kaze said, "We don't have much of a choice, let's go." As they went out of the room, they followed the watery footsteps that Kurosawa must have left behind. When they made it to the last footprint, they saw another mechanical door. Kaze used the code to open the door and when they opened it, they saw a white room with many bloody bodies on the floor.

Mei started to vomit at the sight of this horrific act. "W-what?" she said, shaking.

Rin was in shock. "What in the hell!"

Kaze had a disgusted look as the smell of blood was too much this time for him to handle. There were at least 100 bodies on the floor.

Rin said, "The police and former Enforcers all got wiped out."

Kaze looked around and saw Usagi and Sora bloodied on the floor.

Kaze's thoughts race, tinged with a sharp, cold panic as he watches Usagi bleed out. "He's still alive—barely. But at this rate, he's a goner." Grinding his teeth, he lets out a low, frustrated curse, "Damn it, not like this..."

Kaze scanned the white room, but there was no sign of Keito's body.

Mei wiped her mouth, clearing away the vomit, and took deep breaths. "I don't think we should stay here; we need to leave," she said.

Just as Mei spoke, a young voice emerged from the direction of the bloodied bodies. "Leave?" the kid said. "But you only just got here. I've been making beds for you all to rest in. Doesn't all my hard work deserve a little appreciation?"

Mei, Rin, and Kaze looked on as a young kid with white spiky hair and piercing silver eyes stepped forward. His smile was playful, yet there was something slightly unsettling about his demeanor. Dressed in a dark hoodie, he carried an air of mystery that seemed to shroud him like a shadow.

Rin gasped, "What the hell? This kid like a mini version of Kazu or somethin'!"

Kaze yelled, "KUROSAWA!!"

Kurosawa, drenched in blood, grinned and said, "I've changed quite a bit physically, yet somehow you still knew it was me. Yep, Its me Kurosawa Misuki, at your service!" He gave a mock bow.
