For most people, pushing a huge, two thousand jin millstone from the foot of the hill to the top was pretty much a 'mission impossible' because this task posed a great challenge and required a ridiculous amount of strength.

Huge millstones were normally pulled by oxen or horse to level the ground when fixing a road. It would be quite challenging for even two oxen to pull this huge millstone uphill, let alone a person.
