CHAPTER 23

'Well, I found some fallen angels in the city, let's see who they are.' Solas thought.

'If I wanted to, I could learn everything about the world itself and its future, but if I did, the world would become boring for me.'

Solas flew to an abandoned church where auras of fallen angels came from.

"I don't understand why everyone is eager to come to these kinds of places. If you like places that are so dark, you can close the windows and doors in an apartment or a normal house and turn off the light. Even though I am the God of Death and the Shadow Monarch, I stay in a place that looks better. Cliche." Solas said.

"You four fallen angels do not hide." Solas said while entering the abandoned church.

"Who are you? It's pretty dangerous for a person to come here." Three women and one man appeared, and among them the only black-haired woman, who had a little more power than the others, said.

'I think this woman must be the leader of the team.'

"I'm just patrolling Kuoh. Anyway, you work for Grigori?" As Solas spoke, he started leaking mana, but he was careful to keep his mana between the Higher/Ultimate class.

"Yes that's right we work for Grigori and I'm Raynare leader of this team, so who are you?" Raynare named woman said.

"Do you intend to do any harm to Kuoh?" Solas asked.

"We just do what the upper echelons say so I can't answer this question but you still don't tell us your name." Raynare said.

Raynare was trying to be as gentle as possible because Solas was strong.

"Well, your answer is acceptable for now, then I'm out of business here. Oh and by the way my name is Himejima Solas."

"?!" The dark blue-haired woman, the tallest among them, gave a sneaky reaction but continued to stare normally without the others noticing. Of course, this change of expression did not go unnoticed by Solas.

In the next moment, Solas was no longer there, and he continued to inspect the city.

"I'm sensing some weird deaths, let's see what happens." Solas said.

(Kalawarner)

'That boy said his name was Himejima Solas. Surely this boy is the boy Azazel-sama is looking for, I must inform Azazel-sama immediately.' Kalawarner thought.

"Raynare, I'm going to find some guys to have fun with." Kalawarner said.

"I didn't find him, rather he found me. He's in Kuoh. And he looked just like you described Azazel-sama. An 18-year-old boy with heterochromic blue/red eyes and black hair."

"That must be him!" Then Azazel got up from his desk and headed for the door.

"Azazel-sama, who is that boy?"

"Someone I see as my son."

'Himejima Solas? Wait Himejima? Wasn't Baraqiel-sama's ex-wife also from that clan and had 1 son and 1 daughter as far as I know. The girl had entered the Gremory household and the boy was missing, and many thought he was dead. I understand now.'

'Let's see if it has nothing to do with the supernatural world, I won't get involved.' Solas thought.

Afterwards, Solas came to the house where the death occurred.

When Solas looked inside, a white-haired boy inside was laughing like a maniac over several corpses.

'White hair and red eyes... Isn't that Lint's older brother, Freed Sellzen? It was obvious beforehand that he was going to be a maniac, but I didn't expect him to go this far. But my sister lives in this town, and I can't let a maniac like Freed hurt her.'

"Well well who am I seeing? Is it Freed Sellzen?" Solas said while entering the house.

"Oh is it Solas-sensei? What brought you here, monstrous sensei?" Freed answered.

"You messed up this place, Freed. Tell me, why did you kill these people?"

"They made a deal with the devils, what's wrong with killing such people?"

"Last time I checked, the Church forbade killing people just because they made a deal with one of the devils."

"I am only cleansing them of their sins, Sensei. In fact, you seem to have turned into a monster, let me cleanse you too, Sensei. Hahahahahaha!!!"

"So you've come to the point where you can't be saved, Freed. You got kicked out of the church, right? Tell me, which group do you work for?" Solas asked.

"You are really sharp, Sensei. I work for Grigori. Hahahahahaha!!!"

"Grigori? Okay."

In an instant, Solas disappeared and Freed fell to the ground, then Solas reappeared behind Freed.

"All right, I'll take him to Azazel. Speak of the fallen angel." Solas said while feeling Azazel's presence.

Soon after, Solas took Freed's weapons and started dragging Freed away by holding his leg. He also cast a stealth spell so that no one noticed Solas and Freed on the way.

(Azazel and Kalawarner)

'Their home is supposed to be here at the address they left for school, but strangely, even though there is a presence from within but there is something weird.' Azazel thought.

"Azazel-san, it's been a long time, you haven't changed since we saw each other."

"Hm?" When Azazel looked in the direction of the voice, two eyes, one blue and one red, appeared in the darkness of the street, and then the person's appearance began to appear. A handsome boy with black hair and heterochromic eyes was dragging a body on the ground by his leg.

"Could it be... Solas?"

"With blood and flesh." Solas said with a wide smile.
