The Second Transgression: Knights Journey Starts Now

Ah, my head hurts. I woke up from what I believe is death. Getting stabbed in the heart really hurts. I'm Keiko Kurigiri, and I just got killed by the hero. It's kind of giving me a déjà vu feeling, a sense of familiarity with the fact that I died and came back to life. A skills list has appeared out of nowhere, and my race has changed to Nephilim. That's fun. It must be the side effects of my angelic heritage awakening. Now a Nephilim, I need a name. Knight, born of darkness. I named myself Knight because of my helmet. Now, it's time to go.

Before I started walking, I had a vision, accompanied by a large headache. I saw a knight stopping me and telling me to put some clothes on. The vision ended, and I formed a red and yellow shirt with brown pants. I also formed a black cloak. Now I can walk into town.

I make my way into town and register with the guild. "Hi there," the receptionist greets me. "My name is Robin. How may I help you?" I thought she was so nice until the hero's party came in. One of the characters started to sulk, saying, "We only got 50 horned rabbits." Robin punches the hero adventurer with full force. "Only fifty? You're getting lazy, Jinsei," Robin fumingly responds.

As soon as my guild tablet was done, I grabbed a quest and snuck out. I grabbed a random quest because I was in a hurry and didn't want to be stabbed twice: "Subjugate a goblin village," an A-rank quest. I walked up to the gates, and I had another vision of killing these goblins and then becoming friends with them. I'm not going to kill them; it doesn't feel right.

I knocked out most of the goblins and told the chief to surrender. The chief didn't care much, and their species changed to goblin gami and kosen goblins. It seems the kosen goblins like wars, and the gami goblins can grant wishes. This is great. I made a large domain over the village to claim it, so no one else can take it.

I went back to the inn, intending to turn in my quest, but the hero who killed me appeared, hyper as ever, and asked me to duel. I politely declined and tried to walk away, but Jinsei, the hero, grabbed me and dragged me to the training area. Tears streamed down my face as I said, "I don't want to go," but the hero simply responded, "Too bad."
