Belzebub and Asmo, consumed by fear, fled in desperation, their dark forms blurring as they sprinted through the valley.
The canyon walls seemed to close in around them, their shadows stretching ominously across the ground. They darted between ancient rock formations, their footsteps echoing off the stone as they desperately sought escape.
Above, the Transcendants continued to land, their radiant bodies illuminating the top hills like celestial beacons. Their eyes burned with unwavering determination, fixed intently on the fleeing Devils.
With each landing, the ground trembled, the air vibrating with an otherworldly energy that seemed to weaken Belzebub and Asmo's dark powers.
As they fled, the canyon itself appeared to turn against them. Rocks tumbled from the walls, blocking their path, and the wind howled with a mournful cry, as if the land itself was warning them of their impending doom.
The Devils stumbled, their footing unsure, their dark energies faltering in the face of the Transcendants' relentless pursuit.
The Transcendants descended into the canyon valley like avenging angels, their radiant forms blocking every path. Belzebub and Asmo realized they were trapped, outnumbered, and outmatched.
A chain-like Saber materialized, striking Belzebub with unforgiving force, chaining him to a rock. Asmo tried to speak, but Gabriel appeared, taking his voice.
"You squandered your second chance, Asmo," Gabriel said, disappointment etched on his face,"You were given a fresh start, Asmo. How could you waste it on Belzebub?"
Uriel approached Belzebub, his eyes blazing with intensity."The chase ends here," Uriel declared, his voice like thunder,
"You have two choices: leave Chris' body willingly or be burned out by the Holy Fire."
"You'll never take me alive!" Belzebub snarled, his eyes blazing with defiance.
He then scoffed. "You think I'll surrender? I'm the Prince of Demons and second to only Satan in ruthlessness"
Uriel's expression turned stern. "Then you'll face the fire."
Asmo telepathically begged Belzebub to yield, but he refused. Uriel unleashed the Holy Fire, which engulfed Belzebub's spirit. His screams echoed through the canyon as the flames intensified.
But Belzebub's defiance only grew. "I'll never surrender! I'll..."
His voice trailed off as the Holy Fire raged on, his spirit contorting in agony. The Transcendants watched, their faces set in determined lines.
Asmo pleaded with Belzebub telepathically, "Yield, Belzebub! Don't let pride consume you!"
But Belzebub refused, his defiance fueling the Holy Fire that engulfed his spirit. His screams echoed through the canyon as the flames intensified.
Asmo begged, "Belzebub, please! Surrender!"
But Belzebub's pride would not yield. The Holy Fire raged on as Uriel kept intensifying the flames and the intensity of the pain.He simply lacked emphaty for a Devil like Belzebub. He knew the torture he was inflicting could get Belzebub slain.
Just as Belzebub seemed on the brink of collapse, his spirit began to fade as it emitted an eerie light.
The outcome hung in the balance, as the fate of the Prince of Demons teetered between destruction and defeat. Would he finally yield, or would the Divine Flame consume him utterly?
The Transcendants waited, their eyes fixed on the spectacle, as the canyon seemed to hold its breath in anticipation.
As the Holy Fire raged on, Belzebub's spirit began to wane, his essence flickering like a dying flame. Asmo's telepathic pleas grew more desperate, his words a lifeline to the fading demon.
"Belzebub, don't leave me! We're the only ones who can save our brothers! I respect your bravery, your determination, but sometimes surrender is the greatest strength. Let go, Belzebub, and live to fight another day!"
Suddenly, Belzebub's spirit dissipated, his form crumbling to the ground. Asmo's relief was indescribable, his telepathically sighed and whispered "Thank you."
Uriel approached, his eyes fixed on Belzebub's fallen form. "He will face trial, along with your other brothers."
Asmo's gaze locked onto Uriel, a fierce determination burning within. "Take me too, Gabriel. I want to help my brothers one last time. I'll be the Devil's advocate."
Gabriel's expression softened, his eyes nodding in approval. "Very well, Asmo. You shall have your chance."
With that, the Transcendants vanished, leaving behind a canyon forever changed. The fate of the Devil's hung in the balance, as Asmo stood ready to face the ultimate test: defending his brothers, and his own soul.
