Let me go
Aurora's hand tightened around Xavier's hand when she noticed the fear and disbelief in his eyes.
"Don't worry father, Xavier and I will leave this place, this realm and he won't hurt any of you. He promised" Xavier didn't say anything and just kept staring down at Nikolas just in case he made any move to attack.
"And you believed him? How were you even able to pull it out? It could only be pulled out by an immortal. That… that was what I was told" Nikolas stuttered while Roseline's hand tightened around his.
"I don't know but that doesn't matter. I don't want to trouble you anymore and I don't want to be a burden. I'll go with Xavier willingly" She uttered and everyone gasped.
"Aurora, you were never a burden…" Her mother began but Aurora immediately interrupted her.
"If I wasn't, you wouldn't be trying to sell me off. Xavier and I are married now and I'll go with him" Xavier glanced down at Aurora as soon as she started crying.
Meanwhile Leo and Paxton were staring at them from the side.
"What the fuck is he doing? When do we get to kill all of them?" Leo muttered as he clenched and unclenched his fist.
"I don't think Xavier plans on killing anyone tonight, Leo" Paxton murmured and Leo let out scoff.
"That's impossible after what they did to him. Has he fucking forgotten that they locked him up in that cave for years and treated him like a fucking blood bank? They connived with his fucking brother to bring him down" Leo muttered earning a sigh from Paxton.
"Xavier made a promise to Aurora that he wasn't going to hurt anyone if she gave up herself to him and that's exactly what is happening" Leo frowned.
"Where the fuck was I when this promise was taking place? And why does he fucking want that weak wolf?" Paxton shrugged.
"I don't know but she's his little wolf, their relationship is complex but it's based on something you and I can't comprehend. I'm not even sure Xavier fully understands it himself" Leo sighed.
"If Xavier isn't going to kill anyone then I might as well take things into my own hands" Before Paxton could say a word, Leo disappeared causing him to sigh.
"That demon"
Roseline outstretched her hand towards Aurora with a pleading look on her face.
"Take my hand dear. Your father and I won't force you to do anything anymore. If you want to be in love with Xavier then we won't stop you but please, please don't go with him" Aurora plastered a smile on her face despite the fact that tears were streaming down her face.
She was sad that she wouldn't be living with her family and the home she grew up in but it was time for her to be independent and she wanted to be with Xavier.
"I'm going to be okay, mother. Don't worry about me and just take care of yourself" Aurora murmured and was about to turn to Xavier when they suddenly heard people screaming.
They all turned around and Aurora gasped with her hand over her mouth then she saw Leo walking towards them covered in blood from head to toe with a sinister smile on his face.
Xavier glanced at Paxton with a frown and Paxton raised his hand in surrender. It wasn't his fault that Leo couldn't be tamed.
At that moment of distraction, Nikolas grabbed Aurora's hand and pulled her closer to him.
"I will not let you take Aurora away with you" Nikolas screamed then began running away with Aurora while she tried to free herself from his hold.
"Father let go, what are you doing?" Aurora screamed as she glanced back at Xavier who just stared at her with a frown.
"Trying to keep you safe because I know you don't know what you're getting yourself into. Now stop being stubborn and let's get out of here" Nikolas muttered while Roseline and Veronica ran behind them.
Xavier sighed as he stared at them. He had tried being calm but everything was getting on his nerves. Did they really think they could outrun him?
Xavier let out another sigh and with a snap of his fingers, he snapped Leo's neck.
Leo immediately fell to the ground while the people he had been tormenting ran away.
"I'll go get him" Paxton muttered and at the same time, Xavier appeared in front of the family trying to flee.
Nikolas gasped as soon as he saw him then bared his fangs at him.
"I will not let you take my daughter you beast" Nikolas muttered and Aurora gasped.
"Father!" Aurora yelled but Nikolas' attention was on Xavier.
Xavier tilted his head.
"So you're going to leave your people and guest here to perish while you ran away with your family?" Nikolas frowned then he glanced around and noticed the way everyone was running helter skelter. Some had been killed while some had been injured.
He spotted the Addams' family trying running away as well but their carriage had been destroyed by the earthquake.
"My family means the world to me and I'd rather die than for you to separate me from any of them" Nikolas muttered.
"No one is going to die. Just let me go father, Xavier won't hurt me. Just let me go" Aurora murmured as she begged her father with tears in her eyes.
"You better listen to her, Nikolas. You of all people should know what I'm capable of. If you don't hand her over to me, I'll kill everyone here in a heartbeat. Are you willing to lose your wife, your other daughter and your pack just to save one daughter?" A sad feeling washed over Aurora when her father's hold on her loosened but it was the only logical thing to do.
She snatched her hand out of his grip then ran over to Xavier and wrapped her arms around him as silent tears fell down her cheeks.
"Let's go" Xavier glanced down at her then nodded before turning around and was about to walk away when Nikolas suddenly yelled.
"I won't let you take my daughter!" Nikolas yelled, then reached for a sword on the ground and was about to stab Xavier but before the sword could get close, Nikolas' neck was slit open.
"Fath…" Aurora began as she turned around but at that moment, Nikolas' head fell off and his body fell to the ground lifeless.
After that, a loud scream was heard…
