Help!

"Your father is so lucky to have you. At least, you don't bring disgrace to his name"

"I wonder what he's going to do about your sister because no one's going to want to marry such a weak wolf with a deadly sickness,"

"Maybe she'd die single in this pack." Aurora listened as her older sister, Veronica laughed along with her friends and she couldn't help but sigh.

She stood up from her chair and was about to leave the room when Veronica grabbed her hand.

"Where are you going? Were you offended by what they said? They didn't mean anything by it, they were just saying…. Well, the truth" Aurora stared at Veronica for a while and couldn't help but also think that they were right.

No one ever looked at her because she was the weak-looking sister. Compared to Veronica's fiery red hair and green eyes, Aurora had blue eyes and platinum blonde hair which all made her look even sicker than she was. Although she loved her eyes and hair because no one else in her pack had blond hair as light as hers or blue eyes, no one ever seemed to notice her because she was always in Veronica's shadow.

Aurora gave her a tight-lipped smile and then shook her head.

"I'm not offended. I just remembered I had something to do, excuse me." Aurora said politely then bowed her head at Veronica before running away. Ever since their father announced Veronica was going to become the Luna of their pack once she married a General, Veronica has been a pain in the butt, Even more than usual.

She never seized an opportunity to remind Aurora that she was worthless in the eyes of everyone. Although their parents always assured Aurora that she was special and just needed time to bloom, after all the bullying and name-calling, Aurora didn't believe it anymore.

She sighed as she walked towards her father's study. She opened the door slightly and was about to walk in when she heard something that interested her.

"That Demi-God is still being held down here?" She furrowed her eyebrows when she heard a man say which she assumed was her uncle.

"Yes and he's going to remain here till Aurora is better." Aurora's eyes widened as soon as she heard what her father, Nikolas said. Till she was better? What did a Demigod have to do with her sickness and was a demi-god being kept in her pack?!

Everyone knew the story of how the mighty demigod fell. He had been betrayed by his lover and brother who sold him out so they could be on the throne. No one has heard of him in decades but her father just said he was here? How?

"Aurora?" She immediately opened the door with a smile when her father called out her name. She bowed her head at him.

"Alpha" She greeted respectfully.

"How long have you been there?" He immediately asked. Aurora saw the panic in his eyes and knew that things were more serious than she thought.

"I just arrived," Nikolas heaved a sigh of relief then dismissed her uncles. As soon as they were gone, he turned to her with a smile.

"Sit down, Aurora. Is everything okay? Did you have one of those seizures recently?" Aurora noticed the worry in his eyes and she couldn't help but smile. Her parents were her biggest supporters.

Even though Veronica was the perfect daughter in everyone else's eyes, in her parent's eyes, she was perfect.

"I Just had a little heartache this morning but I'm better now." Nikolas nodded slowly.

"So why are you here?" Aurora took a deep breath.

"I was wondering if I could attend the parade going on later at the pack square? Everyone's going to be there" Nikolas frowned.

"Aurora, you know your condition. You can faint at any time, who will be there to help you up?"

"You can send guards with me, I don't mind. Please, papa?" Aurora smiled to herself when she saw his eyes soften. Her father always gave in anytime she called him papa.

"Okay but you're going with at least ten guards. If you feel any kind of way, tell the guards and they'll immediately bring you back. Is that okay?" Aurora nodded excitedly.

"Yes papa" She stood up from the chair, placed. Kiss on his cheek, "I'll leave you to your duties while I go get ready." He nodded slowly then watched her walk out of the room before letting out a sigh. He turned to look out the window with a frown on his face.

"I hope she didn't hear what I said."

As the servants were helping Aurora get ready, Her mother, Roseline suddenly walked into her room. The servants immediately stopped to bow their heads at her.

"Luna," They greeted. She nodded at them and then turned to Aurora.

"Leave us, I would like to speak with my daughter." The servants bowed their heads and then walked out of the room. As soon as they were gone, Roseline walked towards Aurora.

She grabbed the white gloves that were placed on the table and helped Aurora wear them.

"So I heard you're going for the parade happening soon," Aurora frowned as soon as her mother said that.

"Mother, please don't stop me from going. I …."

"Shhh, I'm not here to stop you from going, I'm just here to tell you to be careful. If something happens, mind-link us immediately. Veronica is going too so I'll ask her to watch over you." Aurora almost scoffed at that. Her parents didn't know how much Veronica actually hated her.

"Don't worry, mother. Dad already said I was going to take a lot of guards with me so I'm sure I'll be fine." Roseline caressed her face with a smile.

"But still be careful, okay? Just to be safe, I brought your medicine," With a snap of her fingers, the physician walked into the room with the syringe. There was a red liquid in it which was Aurora's medicine.

She loved taking her medicine because it always made her feel ten times better so she nodded at her mother and then rolled up her sleeves.

"Is that all that's left?" Roseline questioned when she saw how little the red liquid was.

"Yes, Luna. I've already alerted the Alpha and he said he'll get some more." Roseline nodded slowly.

"Okay then, you may proceed." Aurora gasped as soon as the liquid was injected into her. She suddenly felt…. Alive.

"Thank you mother, I'll be leaving now." Aurora murmured with a big smile on her face then placed a kiss on Roseline's cheek before walking out of the room.

As soon as she stepped out of the castle, Ten plus guards were already at her side. She sighed but decided she was going to behave like they weren't even there.

She was about to take a step forward when she stumbled as an image appeared in her head. Shackles, blood, a figure that she couldn't clearly see. What was that?!

She shook her head, trying to get rid of the image but the words that came after, made her freeze down to her toes.

"Aurora…. Help"...
