She's The Alpha

Defiance Isa Aradale a 16th century imperial crown princess and daughter of the Wolf king Emperor, Alexander Lucian and White Witch, Janessa thought that being on the run and in hiding in the 21st century with her uncle Judd was going to be the hardest thing she ever has to do but it turns out that being a twenty-first century teenager was even more difficult and as cherry on top she falls in love with two Alpha bloods both willing to move heaven and earth for her. Now, she has to choose between the fun loving but somewhat heartless king of white oak highschool, the future Alpha of his pack, Conrad or Conrad's best friend the red haired secret nerd, Jeremy that she can't stop thinking about. What will she do? Will Defiance go back to her century to battle, werewolf, vampires and witches? or will she tough it out and make a choice? The simplest decision might be the hardest choice she has to make. ***** A peek from the book Jeremy pulled away almost immediately. He stared at her like she was a two headed monster and he was just realizing it for the first time or maybe he was watching himself through her iris and he was the two headed monster. He exhaled again and again. This was bad. This was so bad, what kind of a friend kisses his best friend's girlfriend? A dick! He answered for himself. He was getting a hold of his senses again, even took a step back from her but then he heard her voice. "W-what…what was that for?"  She sounded out of breath like she had run a marathon or something. "Why did you do that?" She asked him again. "I don't..I don't know" "Are you toying with me, Jeremy?" "Did that feel like I was toying with you? Staying away from you is the hardest thing I have done in a long time, Diddy" He pulled away to look at her but then he saw the look of horror in her eyes. He followed her gaze and found Conrad standing behind him. "Conrad!" Defiance covered her mouth. "You son of a bitch!" Conrad's punch was parked with so much force that Jeremy staggered and fell to the ground. "Conrad" Defiance tried to touch him. He turned to her sharply, his iris the brightest she had ever seen. It was a warning glare. "Don't you dare! You know what? You both deserve each other!" Conrad turned around and started walking away. Defiance covered her mouth immediately as tears streamed down her face. "Conrad!" She called out to him one more time. Jeremy stood up from the ground and he tried to touch her but she took a step back. "Not right now, Jeremy…please, go home

Chapter 21: Fathers and Alphas

 Chapter 21: Fathers and Alphas

21 century

Defiance didn't go back to class instead she waited the whole day out in the woods until it was time for detention.

She picked herself up and she found her way to the Alpha's detention room. For a dungeon meant for punishment, the hallway looked nice.

The detention room was more like a theatre room with chairs cemented to the floor and the only way down was to descend down the stairs in the middle of the room.  She almost entered the room but stopped when she noticed the Alpha sitting behind the table and his children walking towards him.

Defiance stood still to observe the reigning family without being detected.

Was the Alpha like her father? Was he a man who adored his children or kept them at an arm distance? Was he biased or just?

She watched as the twins approached their father. Connie first and Conrad not far along.

"Daddy"

She heard Connie call the Alpha. Defiance wondered what that meant. Was it what everyone called the Alpha? And shouldn't Connie call him Father or Papa like a normal daughter.

She watched the Alpha hug his daughter before touching her cheeks affectionately.

"Are you alright, baby?" He asked her. "Did you hurt yourself?"

Wait! Wasn't he supposed to be more concerned about the girl his daughter tried to kill? It made Defiance angry but she mellowed once she remembered that he wasn't an Alpha talking to a pack member but a father talking to his child.

"I am alright, daddy. We haven't seen you in days, I guess it takes something like this for you to show up" Connie's countenance changed.

"Concetta" Conrad whispered to get his sister to shut up.

"You are thinking it and so, am I, Conrad but it's like when Mom died we became orphans!"

"I didn't know you felt that way" The Alpha murmured.

"You would if you bothered to check in on us, Daddy" Connie told him.

Defiance watched as the Alpha hugged and kissed his daughter's cheek again.

"I am sorry, Honey and to show you how sorry I am I bought tickets to that baseball game out of town for the three of us"

"You did?" Connie asked him.

"Yes" The Alpha touched his pocket before handing over what looked like keys to his daughter.

"I must have left the tickets in the car. Do you mind getting them, Pumpkin?"

"Dad, I am 17 years old not six. You can't call me pumpkin anymore. I will be right back"

Connie kissed his cheek and ran off.

Defiance hid as the wicked princess race passed her, only standing up when she heard the Alpha's voice.

"You had one job, keeping your sister safe and out of trouble yet you failed miserable at it! What have you to say for yourself, Conrad?!"

"I didn't start a fight and try to kill a pack member, why am I being yelled at, father?" Conrad whispered.

"You are older"

"By twelve minutes!"

"Don't talk back at me, boy"

Defiance saw as his iris lighted up just like she had seen in her father numerous times and she saw Conrad back down and take a step back immediately.

"I apologize, Alpha" He said with his head down.

"Good. I don't want to see both of you in this room ever again. You are my children, I expect nothing but perfection from both of you"

"Yes, father"

Defiance heard as Connie raced back down to meet her father and she thought it wise to make her presence known.

"You must be Franklin's daughter" The Alpha asked her as she descended to meet him. "I am Alpha Zero"

Defiance came close enough and she lowered her head just like she had done before in the present of her father and before her pack back in her century.

"It is a great honor, Alpha Zero. Your bravery is legendary"

Zero looked at the omega blood in front of him and something felt unusual but he couldn't pinpoint it. Then it dawned on him, she had an air of an Alpha blood around her.

"Thank you, Madeline but I wish I could say the same about you. You picked a fight with an alpha blood, a rank higher than yours and now, I have to take some time out of my busy day to punish you for that. You will run ten laps in the forest and you will apologize to Connie. Do you accept your punishment?"

Defiance was furious but she knew enough not to impede on an Alpha's declaration. She was also from a  world where the king-Emperor's word was law too.

"I accept my punishment in good faith, Alpha" Defiance bowed slightly.

Alpha Zero was puzzled, nobody accepts punishment  so wholeheartedly.

"You may pick a seat and begin your letter, Madeline"

Defiance turned and went to sit down.

"Concetta, please come forward"
