Chapter Thirty One - After tour

The tour went by faster than I thought, I missed Ashley so much that we did a video call everyday for the six months of the tour. The tour was exhausting but I'll have time to relax and enjoy that next 6 months with Ashley.

We got to the airport and our fans came in hundreds, I waved at them happily, picturing Ashley in their midst although it was just my imagination.

We all got settled in the car and as we were driven to the dorm

" What are you gonna do for the next 6 months ?" Jimin hyung asked me while I smiled happily

"Isn't it obvious, he's gonna spend all his time with Ashley" V hyung replied wiggling his eye brows at me.

" Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do " I replied and took out my phone to call her but later had a rethink. "  I'll surprise her" I mumbled to myself

Immediately I got to the dorm, I disguised myself in my usual outfit and made way to her apartment. I rang the bell a few times before someone came to open that door.

" Ohh Hari, how are you doing?" I asked with a smile under my nose mask

" Jungkook? What are you doing here ?? What if someone see you ?? " She bombarded me with questions as I raised my brow.

" Come in " she added and pulled me into the apartment

" Where's Ashley?" I asked looking around

"She left for America " she replied as I froze in shock

" What do u mean ?? She left ?? What ?? When ?? How ?? I still had a video call with her yesterday night " asked confused as I removed my nose mask and bucket hat

" She left 6 months ago " hari replied looking sad

" But... But why didn't she tell me  ?? I asked as my throat got dry and my chest got heavy

" She said I should give you this, if you came over " Hari said handling me an envelope

A tear rolled down my fave as I clutched the letter in my hand.

" I'll be on my way " I replied as I wore my cap and nose mask and left the apartment.

Finally in the comfort of the room, opened the letter as I tried to keep that tears that were flowing at bay.

" I'll be already be at america when you'll be reading this, I want you to know that this wasn't your fault but it was all mine. Please don't cry for me

I knew this wasn't gonna work out but I  wanted to try it out anyway and I enjoyed it while it lasted. I hope you're more successful when we meet again .... Byee my kookie

I hugged the letter tight as tears rolled down my eyes more. Why did she have to leave now?? How was I gonna survive without her... Why did she tell me she was leaving??

I sighed after Jungkook left, I could see the pain in his eyes. Ashley didn't tell me why left, she only said her mother asked her to come back but I know there's a more complicated reason than that.

I heard sobs from her room on the day Jungkook left and they didn't sound like sobs of longing but sobs of pure pain. But I gave her the space she needed, she'll open up when she's better.

My phone rang and I picked it up quickly when I saw that she was the one calling

" Hey hari, has he come over to pick the letter ??" She asked with an obviously faked happy tone.

" You didn't have to fake your tone for me, I know you're not happy" I replied

" So did he come over ??" She asked again completely ignoring what I said

" Yes he did.. so are you gonna tell me the real reason why you left ?" I replied

" I told u already my mum...."

" Don't give me that crap, you know that's not the real reason you left " I said cutting her sentence short. I heard her sigh heavily

" Someone sent me a message to leave jungkook alone, along with a picture of use kissing in that art room.. twice. I don't want to ruin his career so it's better for both of use this way " she replied

" So why didn't you tell him ? " I asked with a crooked voice. My best friend was going through this and I didn't even know.

" I don't want his performance at the tour " she replied

" He'll be more heartbroken now cause he doesn't know the reason, you should think about yourself sometimes.... What do you want ?? "I replied and asked

" I just want peace " she replied with a sigh

" Are you okay ? " I asked

" Of course I am, don't I sound okay ? "

" So you don't miss me ?" I asked with a little smile

" Nahh never, but I miss my room though " she replied with a giggle while I scoffed playfully

" Fuck you Ashley " I replied playfully

" Nahh . Hard pass, I'm straight asf" she replied and I could hear the smirk I'm her voice

" Same here dumbo "

" I'll talk to you later, I gotta go " she replied

" Byee Ashley "

" Byee " she said and cut the call while I sighed

" I need to tell Jungkook this, at least he won't be that  heartbroken anymore.
