chapter thirteen - Gonna kiss or what

" You're not as bad as I thought" she said once I sat down at the edge of the bed

" I'm not ??" I ask puzzled

" No you're not , I actually started all this beef so I'll return your phone and your ear pod too" she replied

" So you want us to be friends?" I asked

" Well technically nope but if you want it then it's okay , I guess " she replied with a small smile

I raised my hands for a hand shake and she shaked it, I didn't let go of her hands , I intwined my fingers with hers and scotted closer, then I placed it on my lap

" What are you doing?" She asked kinda confused

" Holding hands with a friend " I replied and she scoffed

" Can I ask u a question?" I asked and she nodded

" The question hari asked you during the truth or dare, was your answer genuine or you were just messing with me "

" I don't lie Jungkook, you must find it weird but I'm still human you know and you're really cute , I feel like kissing you sometimes even if I feel stupid for that " she replied with a smile

" Would it be okay if I said I feel like kissing you too " I asked and she looked at me with a smirk

" I know you do , I saw the disappointment in your eyes that day at haris apartment" she replied

" So are we gonna kiss now or what ? " I asked and she sighed

" I would really love that but things would get really awkward between us since we don't like each other " she replied and my heart shifted a bit

There was silence until I decided to take the bold step , she didn't try to stop me so I took that as a go ahead, I held her chin with my other free hand while the second hand remained intwined with hers as I closed the distance between us

" Ashley how are yo...." I heard someone say and I immediately let go of her hand and face and stood up to face hari and eun woo

" Did we interrupt something?" Hari asked with an amused smirk

" No , not at all  he was helping me to blow on my eyes some dust got in " Ashley immediately replied and i nodded in agreement with her

" I could swear I saw your hands intwined " hari argued

" Well stop seeing things " I added

" I'm off to class , get well soon ash " I muttered and walked off and out of the awkward situation.

"Did he just call you ash ?" Hari asked immediately he went out

" Yes hari  he did and isn't it normal for classmates to have nicknames for each other " I said before I realized it

" The atmosphere is so weird right now, I saw something fishy and I can smell something fishy and I won't stop until I know the full story " she replied

" Eun woo, do me a favour and take her away would u and give Jungkook his phone and earpods that are in my bag ... Thank you" I asked turning to the other side and covering myself with a blanket

" Sure , see ya later " he replied and held her hand , then pulled her out

I sighed in relief and pinched myself

What the fuck just happened, I almost kissed Jung fucking kook. I've been to nice to him that I'm lowering my guard and it's causing me to make stupid decisions.

I woke up to hari tapping my hand

" Haven't you had enough time dreaming about Jungkook already" she said and my eyes shot open immediately

" I knew it would work "she grinned as I stood up from the bed

" Could you please stop being cringey " I grumbled as she followed me

" Just tell me the truth already, you guys almost kissed right... Tell me I'm not seeing things " she whined

" I told u already, he was helping me to gu the dust out of my eyes " I replied and got into the car

Jungkook ended up not coming to school for a few days which made me feel more awkward and bored , hari didn't spare me she was always blabbing on how she was gonna get me and my secret

It was finally Friday and I got to school pretty late , cause hari said she wouldn't let me out of the house until I told her the truth . I turned to my sit expecting it to be empty as usual but there he was , sitting with his head phones on . I sat down quietly and  awkwardly silently praying for him to not talk to me

" Hey Ashley can we talk for a few minutes" he asked and I sighed

" Sure go on " I replied

" We can't talk in here , let's go somewhere more quiet" he suggested and my heart feels .

The one moment I was trying to stay away from him , he's trying to take us somewhere quiet??

" Okay , lead the way " I answered and followed him out of the class , we passed by the hallway, the gym , the cafeteria and kept going higher to the next floor .... Then it hit me , he was taking me to the very secluded roof top of the school.... Does this get any better .

We arrived at the roof top and he closed the door and locked it which made me gulp . Then he turned to face me with an unreadable expression

" About the kiss " he voiced out ....

This was a very long chapter for me cause it has 909 words , but I really enjoyed writing it * winks * I hope you guys enjoyed reading it too ... I'm super excited for the next chapter..

Will they end up kissing at the secluded roof top??
