"General Kofi, we wish this not to continue, for if it does, the worst would happen and we don't as a matter of fact want anything to happen. Africa has passed through sad times - a continent that does not believe in the sanctity of human right nor obey its fundamentals.  It would serve you no useful purpose to disintegrate the country now. Considering the factors in place before you were granted independence, some regions are still behind in matters of development and they need strong support after which these factors should be thought into. As you wished, if your plans are endorsed, these young regions would be exposed to serous problems. Would that be preferable? The tide of humanity is swelling by minutes but reduces by hundreds of new death in seconds. If your men are there on the field, order them to cease-fire. Our fear is the belief that this crisis will dismember the intellectual we have at the corridors of power in this African nation.  The country is still too young to disintegrate. Independent was granted on the condition that you have had some senses to carry the nation forward. You should also know how highly she is placed in the land of black. The pride and strength of Africa. This unrest had severally been aired and the belief is that you have been plunging this giant of African state into deep crisis. Soon our men would be back for a fresh talk with you. Do see that this problem goes impotent as soon as possible."
