Chapter 25: Uncle and Niece

"Actually that's why am here u-uncle" Aliya said tasting the foreign word on her tongue.

"Uncle"

"Yeah uncle" she whispered before her attention got back to her now uncle who was staring at her with a soft look, the one uncles give to their nieces.

He cleared his throat calling unto Aliya's attention who's staring absentmindly at space smiling like the little kid he knew not the composed and expressionless lady she came in first.

"What can I help you with? Tell me what do you wanna know?" He asked Aliya who now has an attentive and serious face making him scowl softly and convinced that it's something important.

"Did you perhaps by any chance see something or someone unusual when my dad came to meet you that day?".

Silence engulf the room again as Mr. Ezekiel furrowed his brows in thought before shaking his head.
