Reward of Pity
"AAAUKuuhk!"
A loud vicious snarl bellowed and echoed in the slums!
"Baldy?" Grea turned his head over, and stopped, causing Zayne to stop too. After that, Grea couldn't help but get pissed, as he went towards the snarl's direction.
Zayne was very confident in running, but he was so thankful he got to rest. After the little boy transformed to a demon, his ability to jump to 10 feet had even increased.
"Pant pant pant."
He supported his knees and stared at the floor.
"I felt like a poor rat running away from a cat…" he said.
"What are you talking about?" the fat rat then arrived. He was coming from somewhere and asked as soon as he heard the analogy.
"So, did you set it up?" Zayne asked, wiping the sweat that had formed around his face using the sleeves of his shirt.
"Yeah, I did a good job. By the way, where's that demon?" the fat rat said, looking at the surroundings in fear.
