Demonic Dance

The ebon bark tree at the core of Dobroslav's inner world was surrounded by a shadowy mist, enhancing its splendour against the black waters of the lake. This ethereal landscape was brought to life as simple demons frolicked around the lake, playing in the shadowy mist. A richness and complexity permeated the surroundings, a testament to the extraordinary nature of Dobroslav's inner world.

Creating such a vibrant and intricate world within his inner realm was no simple feat. Typically, achieving this level of complexity required one to be at least at rank 60, yet Dobroslav had achieved it even before reaching rank 40. This unusual ability allowed him to vanquish enemies above his level with relative ease.

Nobis's soul landed in that extraordinary world, and as he surveyed his surroundings, shock and awe painted his expression. Without even thinking, a simple sentence escaped his lips, "Genius beyond words!"

"Well, thank you!" a voice responded from behind him. Turning swiftly, Nobis found Dobroslav, with Cysio standing beside him, holding the axe that had just moments ago been beneath the tree.

Nobis, panic evident in his gaze, stammered, "What?!"

"No need to be so surprised, my dear friend," Dobroslav said with an evil smirk. "You will be a part of the family from now on," he added, his eyes glinting with a dark shine.

"Do not think you've already won!" retorted Nobis.

"One hundred seventy-six!" replied Dobroslav, giggling innocently.

"What?" responded a bewildered Nobis.

"Ohh, it's just a little hobby of mine. I count how many times I hear each phrase," smiled Dobroslav devilishly.

"You're worse than demons!" retorted Nobis furiously.

"Fifteen!" laughed Dobroslav, revelling in the exchange.

"Before you charge at us, let me propose something," said Dobroslav calmly.

"You see, Cysio is safe and well next to me, and I would love if you joined us," he proposed.

"Have you hit your head somewhere? Why would I agree to that?" barked back Nobis.

"Don't be too hasty to reply. If you willingly join us, I guarantee that I will find you a new body sooner or later. But if you force me to move, then I won't be polite," said Dobroslav while flying around Nobis with a vile smirk on his lips. Cysio stood where he was, his axe ready for a fight, adding an ominous undercurrent to the proposition.

"Never!" shouted Nobis and charged at Dobroslav.

However, he was dumbstruck as he hit the target. Dobroslav's body turned into a shadowy mist, and he reappeared next to Cysio.

While smirking, he said, "Then I guess that's your answer."

"And I hoped that we could achieve a lot together," added Dobroslav with a disappointed expression.

Cysio, his massive axe cutting through the air with a threatening whoosh, aimed a relentless barrage at Nobis. Each swing was met with a distinct clang as Nobis, his hands infused with qi, intercepted the blows. The air crackled with tension as metal met energy, creating a dazzling display of sparks that illuminated the inner world. Nobis grunted under the strain, his defensive stance unwavering, but the impact of each collision reverberated through his arms.

"Is that the best you've got, Cysio?" Nobis taunted between clashes, his voice laced with defiance. Cysio, a silent force of brutality, responded with a guttural growl, intensifying the fury of his attacks. The echoes of their struggle filled the surreal landscape, creating an audible battleground of clashing forces.

Amidst the melee, Dobroslav seized the opportunity to torment Nobis further. Shadow bolts erupted from his fingertips with a haunting whistle, seeking to pierce through the already embattled demon lord. The ominous sounds of the bolts added a chilling layer to the symphony of combat. "Dance, Nobis, dance!" Dobroslav jeered, his laughter echoing through the inner world. The bolts, sinister and relentless, weaved through the air with malevolent precision, converging on Nobis from all angles.

Struggling to fend off both Cysio and the shadowy assault, Nobis roared in frustration. "You cannot escape your fate, Nobis!" Dobroslav's voice, dripping with malice, cut through the chaos. The inner world seemed to tremble with the intensity of the three-way conflict, each participant contributing a unique element to the macabre dance of power.
