"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS??!"
Abby's POV.
It was a bright morning in Los Angeles, Sunset. With beautiful butterflies flying so high In the sky as they flaunted their pretty wings. It felt so good watching them that it felt like I should join them in the sky.
I stood close to the window with my hands placed on it as I looked at the beautiful scenery that was before me.
It was a different feeling now, it was something more supernatural that I just couldn't explain.
And I knew it was because of him, my best friend, my lover ,Alex. Since he left my house for his , I haven't had peace or rest of mind.
I wished to see him more often than ever, I wished to talk to him at every second of the day.
I just still couldn't believe that he was back to me now and wasn't willing to Leave. Seeing how he had kept on taking possession over me made me feel fulfilled.
It gave me the strength to live and the strength to train my son, our son. It was high time too that Alex knew that Jayden was his son and not just a son to some fool called Jack.
I'm sure he must have heard how my last wedding ceremony went. With Kate there and Jack standing closer to her.
How I collapsed and was sent to the hospital immediately.
I was still lost in my thoughts about Missing Alex and yearning for him too when suddenly, I heard a knock on my door.
I immediately turned to the door and without delay, it opened to my son, Jayden with a smiling face.
I wondered what was happening, I wondered why he was smiling that way too.
"Hello mom…" he greeted with a smile on his face as he came closer to where I was standing.
With a curious look on my face, I squatted to his height and had my hands placed on his shoulders.
"You look extremely excited today Jayden, what is wrong with you? Did you by chance take anything that is making you react this way?" I questioned as I wished he wouldn't just stop smiling the way he was doing.
"Some man came to meet me at school yesterday, mom and he gave me everything I asked for. He didn't hesitate too to make me smile and…." He was going to say when I chirped in.
"A man? Who? What was he like?"
"He… only told me to tell you he loved you so much and he can also take care of me if you accepted him back into your life!" Jayden explained in detail.
"Mom? Do you know him? Don't you think you should love him and let him take care of us like he promised?" Jayden inquired with a curious gaze placed at me.
It was at this point that I realised whom he was talking about or referring to as the good man. It was definitely Alex.
I smiled knowing that Alex was trying his best to make me accept him and my son too. He was just as kind and sweet as he has always been.
But on second thought, it was definitely a risky act.
Alex had gone to my son's school to talk to him? I thought Inwardly for a quick second.
For some reason , I felt uneasy knowing that he might find the truth about me and Jack and the fact that Jayden is his real son.
My mood changed drastically and without hiding it, Jayden asked, probably seeing how lost his mom had looked.
"Is everything okay mom? Did I do something wrong by talking to the man?" He asked, pulling me out of my thoughts about Alex.
It wasn't really thoughts about Alex but the fear that he would know about the secret affair I had with Jack.
I stood up immediately from the ground and went over to sit on my bed which was close to where Jayden was standing.
"Are you okay mom? Mom, speak to me please!" Jayden begged as he still came closer to me with a sad and innocent gaze.
I looked at him and with a painful smile, I cupped his cheek into my palm as I stared into his eyes.
"I love you so much Jayden and you didn't do anything wrong okay.. I just . " I was going to say when the door bell was heard from outside the room.
Surprised by the fact that someone was in the house by such an hour, made me stunned.
Jack, who came by almost everyday to see Jayden had travelled and wasn't going to return to the house that soon .
So who was it that came over to the house? I thought inwardly looking at the direction of the door.
"I can go get the door mom, you should stay here!" Jayden suggested with a tender smile on his face.
"No Jay… I'll go get it okay.. just wait here!" I said out as I had to go get the door.
I wasn't sure who it was, so letting my son go to the door himself was going to be very risky.
I left him all alone in the room and dashed out to go see who was at the door at that moment.
I took a deep breath when I got to the door before stretching my hands to the door to know who it was.
The moment I turned the door open, I was stunned by the view that was before me. It was him, the one I was longing for before Jayden came into the room to meet me.
"What is the meaning of this?? Why the fuck didn't you tell me about this??" He roared at the sight of me at the door.
He lifted a paper in his hand to my face as he raged with anger and fury.
"What… what … how …" I stuttered as my heart raced seeing the paper in his hand and what was written on it.
