Know Despair

When all of this was going down with Sephiroth and Endeavor, let's not forget that it was being broadcasted across Japan and many different people had different reactions to what they were seeing.

**** UA Principal office

We can see Nezu sitting down behind his desk watching the live broadcast "Oh dear this looks bad for us heroes. To think all the bad that Endeavor has done while being a hero, I always knew he had some problems but to think that it was this bad." Nezu says aloud while drinking some of his tea.

"I'm going to have to do some major damage control so that UA doesn't get affected by this fool of a hero. I do hope whoever that masked man is does beat some sense into him." Nezu then went to make some calls.

**** Random Apartment in the slums

We can see a man that is roughly around 20 years old with black hair and several purple scars on his face and arms that look held in place with surgical staples. This man is known as Dabi or Toya Todoroki, the oldest child of Endeavor and the one who supposedly died years ago.

"I'm glad someone can finally see how bad this fiery bastard really is. What I wouldn't give to join him down there and beat down my loving father in front of everyone." Dabi says with a grin on his face when he sees Endeavor launched into the ceiling.

"I think I found myself a new friend, I'm going to have to find a way to get a hold of him. Anyone that is against Endeavor is a friend of mine." Dabi says looking forward to watching Endeavor get the shit kicked out of him.

**** Back at PR event

Watching Endeavor charging at him Sephiroth couldn't help but think 'This fool has lost sight of his surroundings and isn't even worried about the people around here doesn't he realize that his quirk causes massive destruction to the surroundings ... Well no matter, what do I care if the people around here die because of his actions.'

"Flashfire fist" Endeavor yells out while he uses his signature technique, he raises his fire's temperature to its highest level and maximizes his power. Doing so, the Flame Hero can unleash devastating flame attacks or increase his speed dramatically. From the looks of it he is aiming to deliver an uppercut on Sephiroth's chin using his increased speed to catch him off guard.

The problem with this is that in Sephiroth's eyes he was still moving slowly, while it might be fast to others to him it wasn't at all. Taking advantage of him coming at him with his increased speed Sephiroth created an earth spike out of the ground wanting to skewer him in the chest. Endeavor seeing this punched the earth spike effectively destroying it, Sephiroth didn't waste this chance and pulled out his sword from his subspace and got into his stance.

When the crowd saw this massive sword come out of nowhere they all quickly scattered out of the building leaving behind Endeavor and his five sidekicks that he brought inside. "If it's despair you want, then I shall provide it to you." With the crowd finally gone the heroes could finally use their quirks to their full potential.

"LIGHT HIM UP" Yell Endeavor and they all shot their own forms of flames at him be it flamethrowers or fireballs causing an explosion with Sephiroth in the center of it all. When the smoke cleared up, they were kind of expecting there to be a pile of ash or something similar considering they have six heroes using a fire type quirk on someone. Sadly this was Sephiroth so of course that didn't happen.

When the dust and smoke cleared up they could see Sephiroth standing there with smoke coming off his body but relatively he was unharmed he didn't have a single burn on his body but his clothes on his upper body were all gone but somehow his mask survived it all. "What the fuck how didn't that work" one of the sidekicks yelled out.

"Let me show you what true flames can do" Sephiroth then waved his hand and a dozen basketball sized fireballs appeared instantly heating up the building just with their mere presence which shows you just how hot they really were. With a wave of his hand he sent them at everyone causing mini explosions upon contact.

Sephiroth then dashed toward Endeavor since he was his main target with his sword intending to cripple him, maybe missing an arm or two would quiet the man down. Endeavor having dealt with the fireballs sent at him saw Sephiroth coming at him quickly and charged up more of his flames "Flashfire Fist - Jet Burn" shooting a blast of fire at him.

Sephiroth pulled his arm back and when he pushed forward sent a blast of wind pushing the fire back toward Endeavor forcing the man to roll to the side. Swinging down with his sword at his now downed opponent Endeavor rises his arms up in a cross using his metal braces to block the sword, not forgetting to add flames to them hoping to melt the sword.

Seeing this action Sephiroth coats his blade in wind and when he makes contact with Endeavor's arms he is able to easily disrupts the flames and cut through the metal and leaving a deep wound on one of his forearms before Endeavor is able to push him off.

'What kind of sword is that and just how many quirks does this man have. He has used earth, ice, fire, and it seems like wind as well. If I don't get some more heroes out here soon I don't know what is going to happen to me.' Endeavor thought while he was looking down at his wound on his arm grimacing at how deep it is. Using his quirk he burnt his own arm sealing the wound so he doesn't bleed out.

Not wanting to be distracted by the cannon fonder nearby, Sephiroth sent a sword beam at each of the sidekicks and then charged at Endeavor again. Knowing that he needed help Endeavor used his quirk and launched himself into the air toward the hole in the ceiling that he created earlier when he was stuck there to see if he could find any nearby heroes to help distract Sephiroth so that he could get a good hit in on him.

"Fool never turn your back on your enemy" Sephiroth then unleashed his black wing and took a stance "Surging Sky" it was a quick and clean four-hit combo for targets in the air. He flew quickly toward Endeavor who couldn't dodge because he didn't know how to maneuver in the air due to lack of experience so all he could do was cover his body with his arms and hope for the best.

Endeavor got four decent cuts on his body and was sent flying through the hole in the ceiling courtesy of Sephiroth's attack that hit him and Sephiroth flew after him. When they reached the outside he saw Endeavor on the roof of a nearby building and he was charging up an attack of some sort "Flashfire Fist - Hell Spider" he yelled out. It was an attack allowing Endeavor to send out long, thin blasts of fire out of the tips of his fingers which he can use to cut through this target. He is able to slice the top half of a skyscraper into many pieces using this attack. This attack cannot be used too much due to the stamina that is required of him.

Seeing this attack coming toward him Sephiroth used his speed and ability to fly to dodge all of the thin lines of fire and quickly closing the distance and right before he was in range of attack him again with his sword he quickly flew back and up into the air because a stream of red feathers came hurling towards him and were still chasing him when he dodged them the first time.

Sephiroth quickly slashed the feathers apart before he looked at the newest arrival a man wearing a tan jacket and pants with some yellow sunglasses on but really stood out about him was the massive red wings on his back "Endeavor, I see you made a new friend"

"Shut up Hawks just help me deal with him quickly and be careful he seems to be able to control the elements." Endeavor then charges up some of his fire ready to launch his quirk at Sephiroth.

"Right right, so my black winged friend, what's your beef with our resident number 2 hero?" Hawks asks in a carefree manner but he is constantly alert on his surroundings. "Leave if you don't wish to suffer the same fate as him"

"Ha ha ha I like this guy Endeavor a real jokester, well orders are orders so sorry going to have to take you down now." Hawk then sent more of his feathers at Sephiroth hoping to overwhelm him which honestly wasn't a smart move because Endeavor told him that he could control elements meaning that he could use fire, which was the worst match up against hawk because his feathers could easily be burned with a high enough temperature.

Which is exactly what happened. "Disappear" Sephiroth unleashed an explosion of fire with him as the center destroyed all of the feathers near him. 'Well damn, those things don't grow back quickly you know. I probably should have listened to Endeavor, now what I used quite a bit of my quirk in that last attack.' Hawk thought.

"Hawk what did I tell you now look what happened you're just a fool after all. Stand back I got this Prominence Burn" Yelled Endeavor. An attack that allows Endeavor to launch a massive, concentrated beam of fire from his entire body that is able to vaporize his target. It is his most powerful attack to date.

Sephiroth didn't understand what Endeavor was thinking because he was currently in the air meaning that all he had to do was go up or down and he could easily dodge this attack which is exactly what he did and he flew under the attack at great speed "Hell's Gate" A diving impale attack which is strong enough to cause fissures in the ground or shock-waves in mid-air.

After using such a big attack Endeavor couldn't move right away and all he could do was hope that he survived this attack, Sephiroth impaled Endeavor right through his stomach and the end of his sword went into the ground causing massive fissures in the ground and sending a shock-wave all around which blew Hawks away who was trying to intercept Sephiroth.

Splitting up blood due to the sword running through him "Big mistake getting this close to me" Endeavor then tried to use his quirk "Flashfir…. Urg" but was stopped because Sephiroth channeled electricity into his sword, stunning him before he could do whatever he was about to.

"Listen Endeavor I could easily kill you right now but I won't. I want you to suffer and despair and live with it for the rest of your life and you can't do that if you're dead." Sephiroth then sent an extremely strong current into his body frying all of his nerve endings sending him into a catatonic state but he wasn't done there using his sword he severed his spine at his waist effectively making Endeavor a paraplegic for life.

Pulling his sword out of the man he turned to look at Hawks "You could try and stop me and fail or you could save this so called hero, the choice is yours." Sephiroth then flew off knowing that Hawks wasn't going to stop him.

As Hawks watched him fly away, 'What a monster glad he's gone (looks at Endeavor) man it sucks to be Endeavor right now, better help him.' then quickly picked up Endeavor to get him to the nearest hospital.

**** Yaoyorozu Mansion

As Sephiroth made it back to the mansion he was greeted by Sombra, Momo, and Eri who happened to be all in his room waiting for him. "Welcome back Sephiroth, how are you feeling?" Momo asks as she starts creating medical bandages with her quirk for him to use.

"Onii-chan I missed you" Eri said with some slight tears in the corner of her eyes, she had seen the beginning of the fight and was worried about him.

"Did you have fun Sephiroth?" Sombra asked him "You know the answer to that Sombra" he said back. "Let me get changed then how about we get something to eat Eri." As he walked away 'With this the contract should be over soon, with the Jinx family losing their last supporter in such a way.'

This whole event rocked the hero society because it showed how much was being covered up to make heroes look good to the public. Not to mention all the damage that the number 2 hero did to the society, worse than any villain known to date. Many started questioning if all Heroes were like this and if so what was the point of having heroes then if they are no better than villains.
