08: THE MEETING (I)

The curtains opened suddenly as the harsh rays of the sun opened my eyes forcefully.

My intense hatred of being disturbed when sleeping was fury but these little maids won't heed to instructions.

" What the hell!!" I screamed as I sat on the bed my eyes searching for who disturbed my precious sleep.

I glanced at the clock and it was 7:30 a.m.

"What the fuck! Isn't it too early?" I yelled placing my palms on my face frustratedly.

" Good morning My Prince, Hope you slept well?" Emilia greeted bowing her head a little.

" You again! What the fuck do you want with me?" I asked angrily.

" To carry out my duties, and as your personal maid be mindful of your language," She said sternly as she resumed cleaning the cushions.

I was dumbfounded not knowing what to say.

"And when did you start correcting me or tell me what to fucking say," I gritted.

" As a responsible Prince that you are, you are not allowed to say dirty language," She smirked sarcasm lacing her voice.

' What the hell '

"She's really getting on my nerves," I muttered to myself.

I cursed lowly under my breath and slumped back on the bed using the duvet to cover my body.

She started humming and swears it was as if it was being rung in my head.

I used the pillow to block my ear but it kept getting in louder.

I was way more than frustrated.

' There's no way she's going to be personal maid, we would definitely be fighting every single day and moment'

" Please keep your voice low," I begged still feeling sleepy.

" Am I disturbing you?" She asked innocently and continued cleaning.

' She's driving me nuts

My jaw clenched tightly and I stood up from the bed without her noticing me.

I walked swiftly behind and I was intoxicated with her lovely scent.

I gazed at her figure, I shouldn't lie, she had great curves and was damn sexy.

" Would you stand up now, you have a meeting to....." She said as she turned to face me but bumped into my chest.

She became shocked and moved back quickly but my hands snaked her waist and pulled her closer to me.

She gulped as I drew her closer to me.

Her cheeks became red slightly and I smirked.

"Please let go of me!" She begged to try to free herself from my grip.

" You know I noticed something about you," I smirked tugging some strands of her hair behind her ear.

Her hair was so soft and silky and my hands were itching to run through them.

I felt her shudder and I smirked the more.

"You seem to be the stubborn and bossy type," I said staring deep into her eyes.

I leaned in closer to her but she tried to move back but I kept her in place.

" You are just looking for my trouble by doing that," I whispered huskily into her ear and she placed her little hands on my chest trying to push me off.

I stared at her face once more, She looked kinda puzzled with what I said but masked it off raising her brow.

I left her alone immediately, one more look at her, I might do something stupid.

"So what am I to do today?" I asked with a smirk feeling satisfied with the effect I had on her.

She looked at me once more before she cleared her throat.

"The Queen is holding a royal banquet and lots of nobles from both this kingdom and other neighboring kingdoms will be attending, Some kings from other Kingdom would be present too and their daughters would come along," She explained.

I knew why mother wanted to hold that meeting so I might be interested in one of the Noble's or King's daughter but I'm not falling for that.

" You are to talk nicely with them and also their daughters are beautiful you will be interested in one," She said biting her lips.

' Oh, God! She's too damn sexy!'

I stared at her both of us making contact with eyes but she gazed away quickly.

"What makes you think I would be interested in them?" I asked her as I started unbuttoning my shirt.

"Uhm! I don't know that's your choice," She said flatly.

I turned to her dropping my shirt on the floor an evil smirk playing on my lips as her mouth went open slightly and she gasped turning back immediately.

"The meeting starts by 2 in the afternoon, I would be here by 1:30 get yourself prepared, I'm leaving now," She said still turning back at me and left.

I was amused by her behavior and I chuckled.

' What a girl!'

EMILIA POV.

I walked quickly out of the Prince room.

' He has no shame at all, undressing in front of a servant'

" Emilia!" Madam Julia called making a stop in my tracks as I turned slowly to her.

"Yes ma'am," I answered.

"Have you prepared the Prince on what's he's going to do, remember you would be with him, come follow me let's get you a dress to wear," Madam Julia said as she held my hands?

" Okay ma'am," I said trying to meet up with her.

We went to the servants' quarter together and she took me to her room.

It was the first time, I would be entering her room and it was quite bigger than ours and well furnished.

" Sit down dear," She said as she went to her closet to get some clothes.

I observed her room and my eyes scanned the picture on the wall.

It was a very young lady, I stood up and moved closer to the picture and gasp when I looked at it.

"That's my daughter," Madam Julia said.

"She looks so much like," I said surprisingly.

I never thought people could look so much like each other, if she were to be alive they would have called us identical twins.

"Here try them on," Madam Julia said giving me four gowns.

I collected them from her and wore them one by one.

She was remarking the one that was good on me till I finally settled on a blue long gown that had laces on it.

"It's beautiful!" I said staring at myself in the mirror.

"Yes, it brings out the beauty in you," She smiled.

"Thank you so much, ma'am, I appreciate this," I thanked her smiling brightly at her.

" Hope the Prince isn't giving you troubles?" She asked chuckling.

' Yes! He made my life a living hell just these few days

" Not really ma'am," I said flatly.

"Are you sure? Are you telling me hasn't fallen for your beauty?" She asked laughing and my eyes widened.

" Ma'am! No!! Nothing is going to happen between us and besides I'm just a mere servant," I said folding the other gowns as I gave it to madam Julia.

"I know the Prince too well," She said with a smile.

' Prince! Prince!! All the time can't they stop talking about him for once, even my friends don't let me rest about him and it sickens me a lot'

" Ma'am, what of the Royal hall are they done with the decorations and settings?" I asked trying to change the topic.

" They're almost done with it when I left there to come and check on you," she said.

" Oh okay! Let's go and check if there are done with it," I said.

"Sure! Here take these shoes and wear on the gown," She offered me some pair of silver heels that weren't too high.

"Thank you so much madam, Julia!,"I giggled.

"You are welcome, let's go to the hall now," She said as she went out of the room while I followed behind her.

I went to my room quickly and drop the clothes and shoes before I ran quickly to follow madam Julia.
