"Why did you allow him to escort us here?" Tin frowned as he looked back at Jackil who is still sorting his men.
"I had no say about that. You know who Jackil is. He will annoy you until you give in to his wishes."
I tried to get him to drop the idea of following me back to the pack; however, his will was stronger than mine.
There was no way I could have convinced him to stay back, without exposing my attachment to Mek.
Should Jackil know who Mek is to me, he will find a way to get rid of him.
"What if your mate?"
"I will find a way to make sure they don't meet."
If I can keep them from meeting, there will be no way for Mek to know about Jackil, the same way with Jackil.
"And you think Jackil will allow you to tell him what to do? You and I know what Jackil us after, and there is no way he can agree to stay at a place that's not your house."
"I can get rid of him before we reach the pack."
