The Two Brothers

The ride was a bit awkward, Brandon was drunk holding my arm while staring at Marcellus' head and Marcellus kept glancing back at us or rather me. Not being narcissistic its just you can feel the tingle of someones eyes when they stare too much. We finally all arrive at the townhouse and Cordelia wasn't there, she stayed with Lancaster this time at his place. I thank him and start to get out the car with Brandon still holding on to me.

Thanking him again as he helps me to carry Brandon inside to the couch. Marcellus and Brandon's eyes look at the two bottles of alcohol on the table then back at me.

"I only drank one of the bottles the other is Cordi's," don't know why my mouth moved before they even asked.

"Can I staaay here," Brandon asked with big drunken eyes his hair flat like a flow of lava.

"No"

"No"

Marcellus and my voices merge and we look at each other then back at Brandon on the couch.

"I slept here before why not now..." He said and my face has a deep heat.

"You are drunk and so no you must go home with your brother...." I look at Marcellus from the corner of my eye, "and it was one time and why are you bringing that up? You are acting like a jealous baby. If you stay what's stopping others from trying to stay! I will get you some tonic water and you guys can leave. I will be fine by myself."

"..." They both look at me with what seems to be concern.

"You need someone to watch your house you are a female. Don't worry no one will disturb your slumber." Marcellus says and flicks me on my forehead.

Glaring at him I go upstairs to my room and get them two unopened toothbrushes and some toothpaste for the morning. Then go back to my room unable to sleep I look at documents and reports until my eyes were too heavy to keep open. When waking at 10am I hear a scream downstairs and know its Cordelia. As I walk down the stairs her eyes are filled with mischief.

"I wasn't home and you had a menajahtwa (3-way)!"

Both guys spit out the water they were drinking and look at her in disbelief as I roll my eyes.

"We just wanted to make sure this little princess was alright because you did leave her to go home alone," the person speaking was none other than Marcellus and I jab his side slightly sitting inbetween the two brothers.

"Not a princess...." My face is flushed as I try to retort but they all look at me and smile making me put my head down looking at the prepared breakfast.

I have no idea why but it makes my heart frustrated when hearing that husky voice call me a princess. Especially when not thinking that highly of myself anyway. While eating Cordelia goes and sits in the living room to watch tv waiting on us to finish. When they leave they both give me a hug.

"Tini our parents invited you to a social event do you think you can go..." Brandon looked down at me with his big doe eyes.

"..I don't know," I don't think that the dad actually had a good impression of me.

"Its for orphans.." Marcellus intruded my thoughts.

"Alright you guys send me the information and I'll go," this man really knows my heart well somehow it pissed me off.

They finally left and Cordelia who was watching as they both hugged me smirked.

"So....those two brothers seems to like you...do you think it will cause a conflict especially because you know..." Her chirping and chiding made me laugh.

"They think they like me, one is afraid of me and even to play with me. The other.....he doesn't have feelings for me he just thinks I'm fun to tease," saying as nonchalantly as possible.

"So....you said the dad was hard to read? Maybe he does like you but doesn't show much emotions. Some older men are like that Tini," she ate an apple from the table as she spoke.

"Alright, alright but what should I take to help raise funds for the orphans, after granny left basically I was an orphan...and you know I love kids," as I speak she looks at me with a smile so wide it would make anyone melt.

"What is it that has you looking so happy...surely its not because of my uneventful night," stretching out the word uneventful for her just to make sure.

"No! I got invited to the fundraiser too but we also got invited to a party by Lanny. Well not a party but well its like a vacation and I'll meet his parents after so I asked to invite you. Now though it seems..." her words trailed off.

"Oh no I do need a few days of relaxation....anyways lets go for all we know Lancaster invited me a companion or you can ask him to find me one," replying smoothly as if two men didn't walk out the door about fifteen minutes ago.

"Okay, how about we get some toys and books for the kids and I make sure you have a companion by asking Lanny. Then we can go shopping," her eyes brimming with glee.

"Fine, you know you are lucky that I really need that vacation I've been kinda stressed," this wasn't a lie I've been avoiding messages from Marcellus and working on helping Alexis get integrated at work.

We shop for the kids and for ourselves going back to the dark shops at the end of the mall where the old women worked. Going inside the two shops always made one feel as though everything was serene. They both had different incense flowing inside their stores.

Looking around was fun then we ran into the brothers, Marcellus and Brandon arguing inside one of the store of Draul. This store was becoming my favorite even their online store looked interesting when looking into it online. The old lady who owned the store looked distressed at the scene so we walk inside.

"Hey guys, what a coincidence! Why are you all making a ruckus here? This is a shop not some place to show off machoness," Cordelia stepped in to diffuse the situation and so I barely got noticed and went to see if the woman was alright.

"I'm fine its just those two really seem to be trying to get the last choker that says Princess...." the older lady explained making my face feel heated as I walk over to were they were now calmly talking to Cordelia.

"She would not like your gift if its just bought without thinking here are some of her favorite sites..." Just as she was finishing calmly I look over the two.

"You two brothers are really too much! Lets go Cordi," me saying this is to make sure they don't cause the lady any more problems.

That night many messages and phone calls were ignored. As I tried my best to slumber. With gifts on the way I didn't know of until the next morning. These two brothers sure have my taste down!
