Unpredicted approach

While walking alone under the crimson sunlight Evi thought to herself "Fate huh? Could it also be fate...that I met krey?" She looked up at the sun that was about to set and the wind came by to throw her hair into the air. Suddenly her phone started ringing.

"Ah! Shin, what's wrong? It's unusual for you to call here."(Evi)

"Why didn't you pick up my call in the morning?" Shin sounded concerned.

"I woke up a little late today, but what's wrong?"(Evi)

"....Nothing much just wanted to call. Anyway krey wasn't the real murderer did you see?"(Shin)

"Yeah dad told me."(Evi)

"And also Laris told me you were gonna show me some chip that day but you didn't come. What about now?"(Shin)

"Well...The chip's gone now ahaha," while talking she didn't notice the gap in front of her and tripped over.

"Ouch! ow! Where did this come from?"(Evi)

"Hey what happened?"(Shin)

"Nothing, I think I sprained my ankle a little. I'm gonna han- " before she could finish "Where are you right now?" Shin said with a rushing voice!

"Uhhhh...near the park..? Why?"(Evi)

Shin placed a smack on her forehead "That's cause you get hurt when I can't get to you."

He kneeled and took her leg in his hand and removed the shoes. "Why're your pants wet? Did you jump into a river this time?"(Shin)

"What? No! It's- Just some child spilt water while playing and it got on me!"(Evi)

"And you're walking around alone with it? Did you see your leg? It's swollen really bad! It's not a normal sprain! " Shin turned around and offered his back.

"Get on! You're coming with me!"

"Hey, you don't really have to. I'll go home and treat it." (Evi)

"By whom? Your dad's not even there. Just stop talking and get on if you don't want me to Princess Carry you all the way." Shin glanced at her from his left shoulder.

"Agh fine, fine! What are you? My other father? Jeez..." She admitted defeat.

Shin took her home and made her sit on the sofa While he brought the kit.

"So what happened to the chip?" Shin said while treating her wound.

"....I just lost it."(Evi)

"Why're you lying?"(shin)

"It's not technically a lie..." Evi pouted.

"Then..?" Shin looked up at her.

"Krey followed me that day and took the chip back, without my realization." She sighed.

"So what're you gonna do now? Move on to the next case or will you still find out about krey?" Shin said while wrapping the bandage.

"I'll Just lay low for a bit. He's not the murderer anyway," She shrugged.

"Are you hiding something from me?"

"What? Nah!! Noo!! What would I hide? Besides, why would I Inform everything to you?" Evi looked sideways and suddenly thought of krey, but got interrupted when she felt shin on top of her as he slammed his hands on the sofa cornering Evi in the Middle.

"Why would you inform everything to 'ME', huh?! I'm like a family to you, Evi! And this isn't about informing, it's sharing what you're feeling and what's troubling you. I'm always worried about you yet you build a wall among us and distance yourself. You only contact me when it's about work."

"Hey hey you're too close calm down! Why did you get so serious suddenly?" Evi tried to push away his hand.

"I'm always serious about you Evi! If anyone dares to lay a hand on you I'll cut off his limbs one by one!" Shin glared at her with his furious ash eyes that frightened Evi a little since that was the first time she had seen him this way.

"What are you talking about? where did this come from? Let go I'm gonna go home." Evi tried to push him away while quivering as the hair strand slid down the neckline that made her look tempting in Shin's eyes.

"Stay here tonight.." Shin leaned forward and his lips kept getting closer to Evi.

"Snap out of it!!!" Evi slapped him and stood up while shin froze just like that.

"I-i'm going home! Calm down in the meantime and see you later." Evi left!

"I almost lost it! Ahhhh my Evi! Do you know how much I'm holding back? I can't wait for the day you'll be mine. Ahh! My sweet Evi, how long should I wait?!" Shin said while touching his cheek with a slight tremble. He looks as if He could eat Evi up at any moment, Just like a 'psychopath' in love....!
