Chapter 130 Driven

"It's nice to see you home for a change," Pauline said with yarn and a sleepy stretch as she enters the kitchen. "Hi, sweety." Miss Alice smiles as she adds more dumplings to the pot of soup she was cooking. "What time is it?" Pauline asks with another yarn. "Eleven thirty, you and the men work late last night." "Well for how much they're charging us, they better work." Pauline snorts.

"Where're the kids?" She asks looking around. "Outside playing." Miss Alice said stirring the pot. "So, how's Tyler? Is he still overseas?" "Hmhmm and it's driving Miss Janice crazy." Miss Alice laughs. "But he'll be home tonight for Faith's birthday party which we're all invited to by the way." "The kids are going to love that and I for one can't wait to enter that house again. It's like a palace and there is so much food, with so many people living there, how do they have so much food?" Pauline asks shaking her head.

"Because all those occupants are hardly there to eat any of it and Miss Melissa is so busy with her baking that she sometimes forgets to eat." Miss Alice laughs again. "Okay, so how is Anna? She's still in University right?" "Yep, that girl is attending more classes than she should be, she needs to slow down, she's going to burn herself out soon if she doesn't pace herself." Miss Alice said in a worried tone.

"So no boyfriend huh?" Pauline ask. "She can't even find time to eat much less a boyfriend. She's driven when it comes to education and whenever she catches Mr. Tyler and is telling him about her activities, she would talk all day or night if you let her but she and her brothers have a tight bond even Caleb, as unstable as he is." She giggles.

"His parents still pushing him to marry that girl?" Pauline asks lying flat on her back on the floor while her mom tends to the pot. "Surprisingly no, Maya has asked them to ease up on him and they did, so now we're all just waiting to see what will be coming next."

"And Fabian? How is he and Amara?" "Oh, they're so in love they can't keep their hands off each other." Miss Alice said in a dreamy tone. "What about her dad?" Miss Alice sighs angrily before answering. "That man leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He's pure evil. The good news is, his wife has moved out and left him, I heard that she's staying with her sister in Montego Bay, the sister's husband is in the army so he doesn't dare go near her." She sighs again.

"But unfortunately that leaves his attention fully now on Amara and that's not a good thing. However he can't get to her because she's well guarded but he's a wild cannon, lord only knows what he's planning in that sick mind of his." Miss Alice sighs worriedly.

"I for one can't wait for him to actually make a move so they can lock him up, the longer he's free and waking around the more danger she's in." Pauline said getting up. "alright so I'm going to go take a shower, the workmen will be here soon and if we're going to that party then they'll have to stop working early today."

"It's looking good though." Miss Alice said looking out the kitchen window. "Just wait till you hear all the plans I have for it," Pauline said over her shoulder as she walks from the room.

It was just as Samson had said it would be. He and Jason arrived back at the hotel after their session and saw a man waiting for him in a big black SUV. The man look at a photo he had in his hand and nods at him as he passes by and he nods back.

"Hey TJ, that man has your picture, run," Jason said and they bolted inside and up the stairs giggling all the way. They ran all the way to the third floor before they stop, look at each other, burst out laughing, and run into an empty elevator to go the rest of the way which was a wise choice seeing as though their rooms were on the eighteenth floor. Fifteen minutes later they were checked out and in the SUV heading to the airport.

To his and Jason's surprise, they were being seated in the jet ten times faster than they would be if they were taking a normal flight, and needless to say they were given the royal treatment for the duration of the flight.
