She's Awake

Beth, Elliot, Bambi, Ava, and Henry all sat in Bellatrix's room waiting for her to wake up. The doctors said she had just a grade 4 concussion.

"That fuck hole should have been nowhere near her," Henry said. Elliot looked up at him and Henry continued. "You should have protected her," he said walking towards Elliot and pointing his hand at him.

"Dad!" Bambi and Ava yelled as they stood up.

"You are the reason she is in that bed in the first place" Henry yelled right before he punched Elliot in the face.

"HENRY! DAD!" they all yelled. Elliot looked up at Henry in surprise again. This was the second time this week he had been hit by the same man. Bambi and Ava rushed over to Elliot to help whilst Beth smacked Henry across the face. "What is wrong with you?" Beth asked

"He put my daughter there. This is what he gets" Henry spat. Bambi and Elliot walked out into the hall while the others stayed in the room. Bambi helped Elliot sit down in one of the chairs out in the halls and then sat down next to him.

"Do you love her?" Bambi asked

"Who? Bella?" Elliot asked surprised. Bambi nodded her head. "Of course I love her. I would die for her. I beat the shit out of Jaxon and I broke his nose after he slammed Bella's head into the locker." Elliot explained

"So you do love her. Do you think she would be okay if you pressed charges against my father?" Bambi asked

"Bam, what-why are you askin'?" Elliot asked

"Cause my father needs to be put in jail. If he doesn't he will do it again" Bambi informed Elliot.

"When Bella wakes up I will ask her okay?" Elliot said. Bambi nodded her head right before Ava walked out and said "she's awake" with a smile on her face.

They all run back into the room and Bella's eyes shy straight to Elliot. He smiles and walks over to her and kisses her on the lips. He pulls away and she smiles at him. "Hey" he smiled

"Hi" she giggled. Elliot wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly and she did the same.

"Okay, okay you guys break it up. I want to hug my sister" Bambi said lightly pulling Elliot's arm away. They all laughed and Elliot backed up allowing Bambi and everyone to have time with her. "I'll be right back" Elliot announced too the room before walking out.

He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts before hitting his mom's contact.

"Hello," Vanellope said through the phone

"Hey ma," he said

"Elliot Christopher Boone! Where the hell have you been?" His mother yelled

"I'm at the hospital," Elliot told her

"What happened?" She asked seeming to drop the anger she had for her son right then

"I'm fine but it's Bella, Jaxon slammed her head against the wall and she got a grade 4 concussion and I beat the crap out of him" Elliot explained. He heard his mother sigh in relief.

"Do you want me to bring Nora to see you? Cause she was crying today" Vanellope asked

"Yeah bring her by. I'm sure Bella would want to see her" Elliot said

"Okay I will be there in ten minutes," Vanellope said before hanging up. He let out a sigh glad his mother understood. Now the part he was glad to do. Text to group chat.

E: Hey guys Bella woke up and the doctors said she's gonna be okay.

C: oh thank god

O: Good we will come by after school

C: Okay Juliet and I will come by later

J: Yeah we will see you later

After he texted the group chat he walked back into her room. Everyone had left except for Bambi.

"Hey, they went to get something to eat. I guess this is my time to leave so you can have a minute" Bambi said before walking out. Once she left Elliot looked down. Bella knew what he would say but just wanted it to go away.

"I know what your thinking" Bella whispered looking out the window. Elliot looked up and saw his girlfriend mopping.

"Bella-" Elliot started

"No, it's my fault. If I didn't hit him I wouldn't be here" she said as the tears fell down her face. Elliot walked over to her and wrapped her in his arms.

"I love you. And I know you were just protecting yourself. But please don't let him hurt you again" Elliot begged as his tears fell.

"Okay.....I'm guessing you beat the fuck out of him." Bella giggle

"Yeah" Elliot laughed.

"I love you" Bella smiled looking up at him.

"I love you too Bellatrix Fox," Elliot said before kissing Bella.
